    Hiya

Blowing a gale and snowing here too, and it's freeeeeeeezing brrrrr

Went out at 9am got back in at 10.30, phoned WTC people, had to phone work to ask them about giving me a letter for it and she hit me with it! I'm working for 3 hrs today, I didn't know  was gutted cause my bed was calling me for a nap. I've just got in and I'm pooped, think I'll just have a 'sod it' day now and do nothing, might even go to bed except littleys got her mate here and I have to take him home @ 6

Felt like a scivvy today, had to do two hours of cleaning then an hours ironing, it took me the full 3 hours to clean the place it was massive! felt like telling them where to stick their job and crying all the way home, but I think it's just tiredness. My house isn't anymore done than this morning and now I've got to cook tea *wails* :D Where's my blankey.........*yawns*

Clear anything that shouldn't be where it is, ahem that includes that cup!
Wipe the bits next to the steps on the stairs, yours might be skirting board, edging of some sort, grab a cloth and give it a wipe[/strike]

Extra Mission Tasks - as usual if you fancy tackling something else you could try one or more of these
[strike]Wipe down window frames in these rooms (inside)[/strike] clean any marks from window
[strike]Clean out the vacuum cleaner, empty the bag/bucket, clean filters if they are washable MAKE SURE YOU DON'T PUT THEM BACK UNTIL THEY ARE DRY! [/strike]

Back from pick up. Popped into shop on way home so another job done. BM on with dough for rolls for tomorrows pack ups. Gonna have a go at the Rainbow cakes from D&DDs thread too.

Gonna go make a cuppa as am falling asleep now and I need to do my exercise dvd later and the ironing.

Sorry your finding it so hard Embb - am sure after a couple of weeks you will be in the swing of things and your getting pain to exercise too - go you!! Are they nice posh houses your cleaning?

Likklegibbon - hugs to you and your dad hun, sounds like he is having a rough time of it.

Application form came for the job I saw in yesterdays local paper. Trouble is I am talking myself out of it as I look at it. I must have more faith in my own abilities. I was blooming good at the job I had before the littles came along and I only did that 'cos my boss bullied me into applying for it (in the nicest way - he had faith in my abilitities). Will fill it in over the weekend and see what happens.

Kaz - you still brewing?? please

Serena - most of these http://www.hythe-alpines.co.uk/Clematis.htm and all of these http://www.pottertons.co.uk/pott/browse.php?folder=20
Both are going to be at the Loughbrough shows in a few weeks so no P&P charges either. I have got rid of two skimmia, two azaleas and lots of primroses to someone at work. Two more skimmia, and twenty million azaleas to go......

I am struggling to balance PT with self employed and house/children/garden/animals which was why I didn't plan to start the business until September when DS2 starts school. The house is a tip - just keeping on top of kitchen and bathroom at the moment. On the positive side, the children are having a lot less time in childcare which can only be good, and I have made more from consultancy this month than I earned through my job.

Onwards and upwards, cleaning clothes on, custard creams at the ready... HHC 5-5.30 anyone?

Awwww thanks for the hugs and stuff, I've been sat on the settee curled up in my fleecy cause I was freezing till I started the tea, like 10 mins ago, had a brew and a good old moan to myself, then I started to think positive and feel better now. Sorry for moaning :o think I just needed to offload :o

    Evening everyone.

Well, I've managed to wangle working from home tomorrow which will be really nice given the forecast - even the south is expected to get some of the white stuff. I have to work Saturday from home too, but if I do one long day tomorrow, I only need to work part of Saturday but will still be able to charge 2 days.

Had such a laugh at work today. Someone from another team popped in the office and in the general chit chat about different projects part of the conversation when something like this (names have been changed to protect the innocent!)

"What happened Jemima who was doing xyz?"
"She's not working on the project any more - she's off sick"
    "Then who's doing her work"
"We've taken on two new chaps - Bill and Ben"

    I couldn't resist it - up I pipe

"So that PROVES that it needs two men to do the job it only takes one woman to do"

    The office was in uproar!
