Afternoon all, its foul here strong winds and snow not a good combination and I have OH working from home as it was taking nearly 3 hours to get over the bridge this morning as a lorry blew over!!

skintscotslass - yes I went to B'muir 83-88 that was when year 1 & 2 were in a seperate building its now flats and all years are together!
pigpen - well done with your figures you will get it cleared soon.
tia - I have owrked in both playgroups and nurseries and would say that on average all boys are after 3 when they start potty training and I would agree with the other comments wait a bit until he's ready plan a week at home and def wait until the warmer weather to do it outside.
Shell - I have hired a ballgown before Iknew I would never need that kind of dress again and a friend gave me a number for a local place it might be worth finding out if there is something similar near you

My list seems to get longer and longer but I did get the new mortgage agreed in principle with the b/soc this morning so feel as though I have achieved something today . Okay going to update my list and will post it shortly.

Half hearted clean in the bathroom, but better than nothing:o Its still under construction so dont see much point in scrubbing it when its just going to get messed up again:confused: And pigpen there is nothing wrong with flash wipes;) I use them to clean the toilet as i dont like the idea of using a cloth that has cleaned up poo more than once:eek:

Not much to update, littely just thrown up again after having a cuddley sleep for an hour. I have popped a plaster over my manky finger as it is very sore and I keep knocking it on stuff:mad: .

Lil_me - with you on the weather front. We have huge downpour, infact I cannot remember when i have seen rain lash down like that! followed by huge hail shower and now have blue sky? Dread to think what it will be doing come collecting from school time.

I have just scoffed 5 sweeties from the roses tin:eek: .

jjef - thanks for the tip re dress hire. There is a place local (well 40 min bus journey) that does it but would mean popping in during half term with both girls and 40 min bus journey either way:eek: , not sure I am feeling that brave.

Promise I shall shut up about the dress issue now.

Kettle on so gonna have a cuppa, anyone else??? and please help yourself to the roses;)

Hi all, its shocking weather here too. Just started snowing, great for the doing the school run in in an hour.

    So, today I've
    Been to my parents,
Done my Next returns and posted letter
    Visited Gran
    Sorted dry clothes from airers
    Ironed a wash load
    S&S kitchen
    Tided everywhere

Need to get DW on in a mo and pack DS's bag with PJ's ect so i can get him ready for bed while out. Just come home for a few hours to see to dogs and put DS for a nap. Then school run and mums for tea.

Tori - that is bad, I'd have thought a LO with recurring problems should be referred. I would ring your Health Visitor and tell them how concerned you are about it, they have assisted me with referrals in the past. I know it shouldn't be the answer and its not right/fair but have you considered a private consultation - might be worth the money just to put you at ease about his ears

Shell - I would think of hiring something, or like Tia said, check TKMaxx - ours even had wedding dresses in the other day!

Sssshhhh, I've worn things and returned them too. Mainly if its something I'm not sure about, I'll wear it for a few hours with tags in, then will wash it and return it if I don't feel right in it - yes naughty but fed up of wasting money on clothes

Pigpen - well done on your figures, all this ranting and 'they' will ban you LMAO!

Mudbath - I've got that blo**dy song in my head now LOL

Right cuppa, waste a bit more time online and then get ready.

Where is this thread that says we have to change our signatures anyway?

I have hoovered, tidied up a bit, sorted the rabbit hutch (the roof blew off) I have to talk OH into a new one its falling to bits, I would complain but I bought it when I was working on sale and discount and its over a year old now. Pets at Home hutches are crap!

Cleaned the sofas while DS2 cleaned the doors (which are glass [STRIKE]pains in the ars[/STRIKE]) but he then decided to clean the TV so half a bottle of glass cleaner was sprayed on it. It's nice and clean now.

Better go get DS1 and collect package from post office, it hadn't arrived when I went earlier, and bless em, they are good they usually come back up if you weren't in before dropping it off at post office.

On my way, in a cleaning mood, hope it lasts till after I get DS1. oh and I am baby sitting my friends wee girl tomorrow! I shall call her SDD (Stolen Darling Daughter).

tracyg.. I've been banned from far worse places.. I've been banned from places were 99% of the users have mental health issues!! lol (and I know that only leaves one uk site lol..)

I've mucked out the bunnies I've mucked out the bunnies!! My house smells all rabbity now though so need to burn something.. wonder if I have bread? I always burn toast! lol.. might put a loaf in.. by the time I get back from school it will then smell bready.. actually I need dough in for bread bombs for the children.. I'll do that now..

Toria.. I did that a few months ago. joined a bingo site for £10 cashback.. deposited £10.. got a 'free' £10 on site then won £25.. I ended up with an extra £45 in my bank account.. plus my £10 back!! not bad for 10 minutes.. might try another few later actually.. I really need some cash coming in.. our 'personal inflation rate' it 6.9 % which is almost twice the national rate.. and hubby's pay rise will no doubt be crappy.

    ARGH!! need to collect gremlins..

    where are my shoes?

I sorted the kitchen.. it looks most pretty now!
