Tracy - thats my next stop - going to go and see HV on Wednesday, the good thing is that although his ears are gooey he is happy and being a treasure! Just not eating as well as usual.

Pigpen - I join all the £10 free bingos! Let DD's play them mostly - they seem luckier than me!!

The weather here is atrocious, gale force winds, hail and snow, but luckily just above freezing. I have been to hydrotherapy and have definitely done my HHE for today.
Potty training I found it best to leave a potty around and occasionally show/help children to use it but they are only ready when they are ready. DDs nursery said they wouldn't take her in nappies so we sent her in knickers, they soon changed their minds.
Two loads of washing done and hung around hall.
    Plan to
    Sweep stairs and hall
Clean downstairs bathroom, DD did upstairs one last night
    Sort paperwork for 15 minutes
Need to get someone to clean out hens

I feel ready for a cuppa and put my feet up as Hydrotherapy has left me really drained.

Tia - it's in red at the top of the OS board.

    I've finally finished my cake and it looks fab. I've taken a piccie but not sure how to put in on here. Will try later when i've finished (should that say 'started' flying). I'm making my own list up today;

    - S&S kitchen
    - S&S living room
    - S&S dining room
    - clear basket at bottom of stairs
    - sort drawers in cupboard at bottom of stairs
    - S&S bedroom

    - S&s bathroom
    - get children to do their rooms
    - pick car up from garage
    - hoover stairs and landing
    - dry clothes for 10 mins and hang
    - put another washing load in
    - unload dishwasher
    - sort recycling out
    - check bird feeders
    - wrap pressies for OH and dad

Ok, I think that's all I need to do as i'll be doing nothing tomorrow or over the weekend. Off to get the children from school now, watch it rain now xx

Hi all, had a lovely lunch out and all the better for not having to pay for it - feel very full for this time of day but will mean I can do my HHP whilst little one is in the bath - oh that is when I am meant to clean the bathroom - could be a long bath.

No snow here, I am very jealous - actually realistically it would be inconvenient before Monday when it is DS birthday as I still need to organise stuff.

School run time then the trip to the magic makers - be back at tea time.

Horrible weather here too, but no breaks for sunshine at all, just wind and rain.No gardening today...

dustykitten - I needed some polyanthus - pink and white for the sunny border, and red with yellow eye for the tub by the front door, also some vegetable seeds for when the weather gets better, and some compost to sow them in...:D I only got a few men's gift sets in the 90% Boots sale, as it's cheaper than buying the standard products. I also splashed out out on some more skincare with the £5 vouchers.

Today I have done Level 3 plus some extras in the cloakroom and bathroom, and did some typing and emailing that has been transferred from one To Do list to another for months, glad to cross those off! Also made a lemon drizzle cake, so the house smells delicious.

I'm off to pick up the children in 20 minutes, and then later have to take DS1 to collect the huge 3 year old Sony TV he bought from ebay for £31!! Junior MSE in the making.

I forgot to say that it was his parents' pm on Tuesday, and he had glowing reports from everone, and such encouraging comments! Lovely to hear, as he has had a rough couple of years. His Product Design teacher started by saying 'I didn't think I'd be saying this to you, but if he carries on as he has been doing last term, he'll be getting at least an E, and probably improving on that'. Okay, that may not sound so wonderful, but it's a massive achievement for DS1 after being so very ill, and still really recovering. He is retaking English GCSE, and that teacher told us she'd given him an A for his last piece of coursework. He's never ever had an A for English!!

hex2 - which plants do you need?;)

I remember reading ages ago that we had to keep our signatures small, so I put mine in the smallest text size, will that be enough to do or do we have to make them smaller still?
Dog walked again three times in blizzard and wont do anything because smells have gone!! Potty training toddlers is easier and warmer.

  • I'm really sorry but I've had to give up trying to read back the whole of the thread redface.gif so I'll just jump on and post.

Have been at work long hours this week but have tried to keep up on the HHE (cause I'm scared of pigpen :D) - when I was stuck in the office I was reading the paper while doing squats - multitasking and exercising!!

Have spent rest of today cleaning up after builders and making them mugs of tea - I've had 3 lintels put in, another 2 due to be done tomorrow so now it's really dusty, especially here in my study cause every time the wind blows, another load of dust comes cascading down. I was really worried they wouldn't be able to do it during the torrential rain we had earlier but they stuck it out - made of stern stuff these builders - it must be all the sugar in the tea.

Have got to visit darling dad again in hospital tonight - he's still got his foot after 3 ops, 1 load of maggots and now a drainage thingummie - you can't fault the hospital's tenaciousness in trying to avoid amputation but it's still not showing a vast improvement. Now his eyesight has deteriorated so much in the 5 weeks there that he can't read and his long vision is also getting much worse. I can't imagine anything worse than not be able to see to read _pale_.

I had a lovely afternoon at my friend's house yesterday - after work we had a relaxing late lunch with our friend who had a baby on NYE - he's smashing and really alert but she's had a rough time of things so we're going to try to help her out more and see that she gets some ME time too - I think I spy a few pampering treats will be needed :D
    I'd rather be watching CSI!

Not really done much except hoover the kitchen and living room, made the stroganoff which smells yummy and tidied up a bit. Spent most of the afternoon watching my new dvd, which is also yummy:D
