Why is it I have less time now I am retired then when I worked?0 -
Hi,
I haven't posted for a couple of days so am really sad to hear about beemuzed and Hilarys Mums ((((HUGS)))) to you both at this difficult time. I suppose the only consolation (as when my Nan passed) is that they are no longer suffering.
N9eav - Wow ... nice surprise on ur credit card statement!
Amie - Congrats on your new nephew!
I was planning on going to a car boot this morning to see if I can find anything to sell on ebay. Still haven't made my mind up whether or not to go cos have got to prep dinner for this afternoon and am detirmined (sp?) to make it to church at 11
We cleaned the house yesterday - DD's are fantastic little helpersand have got last load of washing on. Still haven't got on top of ironing
I'm going to switch iron on to warm while I prep pots n veg n get oven on.
My freecycle BM has already given up the ghost (after 2 loaves  ) The metal things under the tin are turning but not turning the blades to mix the dough. Has anyone else had this problem? and if so is it fixable? I was just getting addicted to the lovely smell of baking bread in the mornings
Hope everyone has a great sunday and (((HUGS))) to all those who want/need them.

Morning Everyone
Amie congrats on the new additions.
Beemuzed: So sorry about your mum.
For everyone that hasnt read the end of yesterdays thread I had a little trip to A&E yesterday evening with DD as she split the side of her head open. She seems fine and slept most of the night and I woke her when I went into check her at 8am.
Plans for the rest of the day are to get a kitchen quote from Wicks. Get rid of the bits in the ironing basket and have Brisket for dinner.
Have a good day everyoneSorting my life out one day at a time0 -
Morning all!
Oh I am sooooo tired and my legs ache from dancing as I was at a wedding reception yesterday! It was great fun and the food was lovely, but my tummy was a bit bloated-when I got back OH asked what I'd eaten and then decided it was because I'd had chicken dippers which were processed and my body wasn't used to all that rubbish being put in my body... I guess he's right and that he is really loving the OS life.
I'm off to visit my folks today and popping to Lakeland on the way, am treating Mum to an Easiyo as she keeps asking us about ours, stops me having to tell her about it every time we're on the phone, eh? Hopefully will help her immune system having yogurt that fresh, as she has been told that yogurt should help her.
Sending hugs to Hilary and Beemuzed (I'm so sorry for your losses), as well as Joannasmum-I hope Joanna is better today and in less pain.
Have a pleasant, peaceful Sunday.

Morning all
BEEMUZED sorry to hear on your loss. Hugs to you.
AMIE congrats on your new nephew, could be the Chinese that has made you ill all the MSG in it. I can no longer eat it as it makes me feel so rough.
N9EAV nice suprise, enjoy spending:D
JOANNNASMUM glad your DD is ok.
HUGS to anyone else who needs them.
Went to bed at 10.30 last night, knitting is coming on well, think I will line it and turn it into a cushion cover. This site has made me think so creatively, am always looking at things and wondering what I can do with them:D .
Cats woke me up at 04.45 to go out, so took advantage and put a second load of washing on and went back to bed. Am getting the hang of this E7 lark. Both loads now blowing on the line, it just smells so nice after.
Must get some breakfast, am starving. Probably make some veg soup for tea in slow cooker and need to make some more bread, also have ironing and homework to do. Would like to go and find some woods for a walk as it's so nice. OH is working tonight so will be in bed all day.
Have a good day all:A xxxx0 -
Morning all
so sorry for our loss beemuzed - go very easy on yourself this week hun
We are just about ready for church - dd11 going with a friend of mine while I mooch around outside for an hour - it's in the middle of richmond high street so I must be very very careful not to go wild with the £50 that exoh bunged me yesterday. dd11 is a dfw today - she owes me £3 and wants to earn enough to buy soem more bits for the yet unnamed hamster so she will be my [STRIKE]slave for the day[/STRIKE] willing helper at a rate of £1 for every half hour
big hugs as well to Joannasmums daughter - I'm guessing that's probably joanna actually - hope she's feeling better today
have a good day allI'm going to feed our children non-organic food and with the money saved take them to the zoo - half man half biscuit 20080 -
morning all,
beemuzed, so sorry to hear about your mum, hugs to you and your familyxx
Amie, congrats on the new arrival, and hope you feel better soon x
N9EAV, yes people are nicking the wood, there was a piece on the local news, where you saw a young man walking down the prom with a piece on his shoulder, police are patroling, but I suppose they can't be there all the time.
JOANNNASMUM hope your DD is ok hugs xx
Tru I :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: at your dogging tale xx
Beautiful day here, got a load of towels in the machine, will hang them put in a bit, should blow nicely today.
OH and I are going to cut the apple tree back a bit, its getting slightly out of control, I get so many apples off of it, keeps us going all winter,I get a bit sick of them to be honest, I give bags and bags away each year.
Got Roast pork and trimmings for lunch, I think I can hear OH peeling the spuds, I suppose that means I will have to get my own tea refill
Have good days all xx0 -

Dinner tonight is using up leftovers in fridge. Just about to put first washload out, hope it dries soon as the uniforms for tomorrow are in it:rolleyes: Should be good cos the sun is out:cool: and the wind is blowing.
Lunch is sausage sandwiches - again - everyones favourite at the moment. DH took beef sandwiches with him fishing today. At home with the boys all day today, might drag them out for some fresh air later or maybe just throw them out onto the trampoline:rotfl:
