Broken hearted that is a little on the tough side is it not.
Mollybear is obviously under a lot of pressure hence the post here and one little hing like clearing the garden up can seem insurmountable under the rest of the pressure.
There was no need for the harshness of that post.debt @05/11/11 £12210.63!! slowly chipping away!!:heart2:impossible is nothing.:heart2:0 -
hey all!!! no need to be judgemental!
It takes a lot to come on here and admit to something, so lay off a bit!
Mollybear, i can relate re the dog toilet back garden, i make my OH get out there and "scoop the poop" every other night otherwise it gets outta hand. We're lucky as there is a field at the back of our house so he lobs it over the fence! Not sure how the famer would feel if he knew but there's nothing growing in it this year, and last year it was cows!
chin up love! I think you've answered your own question re the pup and maybe use £20 of the £200 to treat the family to something nice, and so you feel less sad about it all.I'm just a seething mass of contradictions....(it's part of my charm!)0 -
Yep it was harsh but money problems are not an excuse to be dirty it takes no time to clean up the dogs mess.Barclaycard 3800

but when you have a thousand and one other things to do and the pressure is weighing you down so much you don't know where to start then yes it can take time and drags you down so you don't know where to start.
Absolutely no reason to bring the kids into it at alldebt @05/11/11 £12210.63!! slowly chipping away!!:heart2:impossible is nothing.:heart2:0 -

A bit of dog poop in your garden does not make a dirty person.... jeezo lay off will you!!
The OP said she had 5 kids, a job and a house to run, which i'm sure is clean enough. i should imagine scooping poop is way way down her list.
Not helpful broken hearted. Must be great to be perfect!I'm just a seething mass of contradictions....(it's part of my charm!)0 -
I think it is the right decision.
If your other dog isn't being walked you will have a nightmare situation where you have all the children demanding your time, a Rotty needing exercising and an excitable puppy tearing around like a mad thing needing loads of exercise as well as the chaos they can cause at that age and up to when they are 2 even. The chances are, you'll end up with the responsibility of 2 dogs to exercise and care for as the children are too young to share the responsibility. AND you'll have the other aspects of your life to cope with as well."Stay Wonky":D

The reviled Money Lenders and Vested Interests have ensnared and captured your soul and wrapped it in Debt. They have caused you to be Sad and Miserable and Wretched. They drink their fine wines and Champagne and tread all over your Spirit…they laugh and rejoice and delight in your misery… and…and… your Puppy’s misery….
To become debt free… to cast off these Shackles and Fetters you must be focussed, single minded and…er… other things. You must be Brave and Fearless…and Valiant and use whatever means to gather funds….you must be prepared to sell your Grandmother…you may not get very much for your Grandmother…. but as the saying goes….”Every little helps.”

I take it your house and garden are spotless then?
Do you have 5 kids, a house, dogs, job, depression, no money, job, relationship troubles, the death of your nan, a dying grandfather, a critically ill mother, no money and plenty of debt harrassing you?? Do you have severe health problems which i wont discuss on here which effects every moment of your life?
Maybe you would react differently if you did. Luckily my neighbours are a lot more understanding than you.
I could've reacted far far worse to you "maybe the kids too" part of your post. I cant post what i would like to in response to that bit otherwise i would be banned im sure.
Do you know how hard and time consuming it is just to clean up after the kids? 11 months, 3 yrs, 4 yrs, 8 yrs and 11 yrs old, its not like they're 16 and able to look after themselves!
Do you know what its like to suffer from severe depression and look after this lot? Do you know how hard it is just to drag yourself out of bed every day? Physically and emotionally? I think not.
One should not judge another unless they have walked in their shoes.

Mollybear please don't let thoughtless comments hurt you. Only you know what's best for your family, and I don't think it's unfair, at this early stage, to give the dog to another home as it will most probably benefit everyone, puppy included. The important thing is that you've realised you can't afford things like this and so will think about things more in the future. The dog will be very happy either in your home or in another.odi et amo0
