            Heya all,
Hope everyone is ok in DFW land! It feels like I got paid sooooo long ago and that I haven't made any progress on the M & S card, despite me saying that December was gonna be a relaxed month with minimum repayments on the remaining 3 cards. I dunno if I can do it as I keep wanting to pay money to the dam card all the time, not that I really have anything to oay for it as have the Xmas pressies to sort...drat! I just feel guilty I suppose for not paying money off all the time...need to chill out a bit methinks!
Have been on a major stressy the last few days as DD is driving me insane! Kids eh! Crazy! Have decided I really need to pull my finger out, in sooo many ways! Something always crops up and knocks me off key...called life I suppose! So have been taking baby steps to get organised and back to normality! Have started getting back into my keep fit and running etc so that's looking good and my healthy eating too! Wanted to start it now as opposed to in the new year when I will give up like the usual resolutions!
Work is being pretty mental at the mo and I keep longing for April when I would have been in my job role for 2 years and I will get a slight pay increase...yay! Bike has finally been paid off at work now so wages should reflect that in December.
Xmas plans have been taking over too! Was meant to pick up a new tree today form Argos as had 75% off! But couldn't as had to help DD with her homework so will try again tomorrow. Have to get it as reserved it and there were hardly any left! Also reserved my nephew's pressie which was half price! Bonus!
Right I am off to get ready for bed, nighty night all xxx:j 'Proud To Be Dealing With My Debts' - DFW Nerd member 866 :j0

Must be something in the air!
I had to go to library earlier to use the PC.
Am seriously thinking about increasing the debt to buy a PC or netbook as this is driving me really nuts.

Kids are such a mare ain't they! I just don't get it...no respect or consideration whatsoever, expect everything to be done for them all the time, do nowt but moan and whinge and cry because they can't get their own way...then go back to being moody and grunting at you everytime you speak to them! Grrrrrrrr!
I was thinking the same, getting a cheapo laptop, just so I can get online. Mental as this is my darn PC!
Hope you are ok apart from the kiddie issue!

            Hi Donna,
Well between the 3 of us we have a pc and a laptop (mine!), but I never get a look in! I'm the one who always has no pc access at weekends and after school of course. Luckily my mum has just bought a new laptop and is selling me her old one for only £125, and it's better than mine!! So all will have one each lol. Not very dfw buying another, but if I can't do any college wk at weekends cos they're hogging my computers then I think it's well worth it!!
I agree with every word about dear daughters......;) Hard work...well the 11yr old is, E is 9 and still a good girly for me!!!I really need to sort out a new signature!0

Just popping in to see how you are Donna, i see you are really hammering those cards.:TBlackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?
Still lurking around with a hope of some salvation:cool:0

            Hello everyone,
Hope everyone has had a fab Xmas and is looking forward to the new year. I am very excited as think this year has a benn a bit on the pants side really and cannot wait for 2009!
Has been a crazy few weeks here in the kebab household. Had a fab Xmas day as had my dad and bro and nephew here for Xmas dinner. We had a lovely time and I have eaten loads of Xmas! Managed to get everyones pressies sorted and am looking forward to my budget in 2009 and starting to hit that M & S card! I really would love it gone by the end of April. Will be a very tall order but am really hoping to nail it. Once the card is gone, will be rebudgeting for everything, including childcare for easter and the summer and car insurance, MOT etc too!
One thing I have noticed over the last few weeks is that I need to stop being so hard on myself. I feel so guilty even buying anything these days and my debt is coming down so need to cut myself some slack. I haven't put Xmas on the cards as everything was paid for outright and December is always gonna be a tough month! Chance of a bit of a bit of overtime at the end of the month so that will help, even if it is just £60 or so!
Am trying to budget very hard in January so I can pay as much as possible towards the M & S card. Have been very good and not blowing money like everyone else is in town. I went to Cribbs Causeway today and it was MENTAL!!! People were going nuts! But all I want is that card gone so good to keep focused!
So here are my New Years resolutions.....
1 - Cut myself some slack and enjoy life a bit more...ok a lot more!
2 - Get fitter and tone up
3 - Stop swearing (that one is for the boyf as he hates my swearing and I know I shouldn't do it as my house sounds like the Osbournes!)
4 - Treat my body better food wise
5 - Work hard at work and gain more confidence
6 - Be more assertive and stop apologising to everyone when it isn't my fault!!!
7 - Try and be a better mum and understand that my DD isn't being difficult, she just is moody as she is becoming a teenager!
8 - Keep on trying to sort the house out
9 - Keep plodding on with the debt payments
10 - Have more sex with my boyf of course! with my boyf of course!
 There...10 resolutions!
Righteo I am off to make a cup of tea!

Your list sounds remarkably like mine......except I won't be having sex with your boyfriend, if that's ok with you.......

I have decided that this month (January) what I will do is at the end of each week, if I have any money left over, I will pay it towards my card to try and keep myself motivated as opposed to waiting till payday on the 27th. This will hopefully make me a bit happeir, seeing the balance come down.
I am hoping not to spend too much tomorrow as am having a meal and am planning not to drink that much booze at all, if any. I really want to have a lovely New Years Eve and spend some time with close friends and have a fab time and remember it all the next day. I am very lucky to have such an amazing boyf, I can't wait to see him as have missed him over Xmas terribly!
Reckon I have enough food to last me till the weekend, so really hope to have some money left in my purse, ready for that card!
I want tomorrow to be a cheap one, lets hope my mates understand? Will be worth it in the end and you don't need to get wasted to have a good time, I am getting a bit old for that now!!! Might make at least every other drink a soft one, by the time they realise they will all be wasted anyway!!! Bet my friends think I am sad being so money obsessed but I can't help it Just like paying off my debt. :j 'Proud To Be Dealing With My Debts' - DFW Nerd member 866 :j0 Just like paying off my debt. :j 'Proud To Be Dealing With My Debts' - DFW Nerd member 866 :j0

Mmmmmm cycling has been going ok as have still been biking to work each day, up till I fifnshed for Xmas. The running...not so good at all Just finding it soooo hard to get outside as is so blimin' cold. Really need a running jacket really. Haven't ran for a couple of weeks but plan to pound the streets again and force myself out there on Sunday. Thought might attempt a very slow 6 miler but have put on weight and feel very, very unfit now Just finding it soooo hard to get outside as is so blimin' cold. Really need a running jacket really. I think that there are still places left and have been thinking about booking a plcae asap. Thought it would be good to force myself out there again and have something to aim for. Failing that, I will tyr and find another at around the same time and hear that they should be doing the Chippenham one again in the summer so will deffo be doing that!
How's your training going? I feel like such a running failure at the moment xxx :j 'Proud To Be Dealing With My Debts' - DFW Nerd member 866 :j0 xxx :j 'Proud To Be Dealing With My Debts' - DFW Nerd member 866 :j0
