I am in awe of how much you have managed to pay off this year. Keep going you're doing so well. Don't forget to keep some balance though and treat yourself too especially with that birthday money. If you can't think of anything 'specific' you need/want with the birthday money how about using it for a 'treat night' each week for a few weeks, ie cinema one week, chinese and a bottle of wine plus DVD the next, that type of thing? Just a suggestion.
Well done again
:T
I can't believe how much has been paid off...and it is really in about 10 months...not even a year as never really started till start of Feb until end of Nov! Soooo chuffed about being able to get rid of Lloyds so start of the year I had 7 cards and will be donw to 3, even after obtaining another so 8 of them, as did a BT!
That's a really good idea about the birthday money! Might have to do that!
Am feeling chuffed with the ol' money at the mo...I know I keep on about it, but really excited about getting down to just the last 2 HSBC ones and then in April 2010, the bank loan will be gone too.....I can't wait to be in the £££ and now as this year comes to a close, I can think that it will hopefully be gone in 2010 as when it hits 2009, I will know it will only be in the following year...if that makes any sense whatsoever!!! xxx:j 'Proud To Be Dealing With My Debts' - DFW Nerd member 866 :j0 -
Hello all!
Well I have just paid that Lloyds card off and have added the next one to the sig...M & S mastercard! I put the balance of this one at approx £1860 give or take a few pounds! This is the last little-ish card before I hit the 2 big ones! Am planning on just minimum payments this month in order to sort out Xmas pressies! Am hoping that I can keep the food budget low this month and I don't have many bits extra to buy. Am not planning a mental Xmas so will not be spending uneccessarally...not like every year previous!
Have spent the evening working out what bills are coming out when etc so feeling better about that!
Hope everyone is well xxx:j 'Proud To Be Dealing With My Debts' - DFW Nerd member 866 :j0 -

Ha ha...I wish! This payoff only happened due to my backdated payrise and overtime payment! I reckon perhaps April at a mega push??? But would need to be very tight with the ol' money! Gonna be trying sooooo hard this month to keep the costs down but it is more difficult due to Xmas and all that goes with it money wise...Xmas meals at work etc
Also need to bet myself some proper gear for cycling to work in as is blimin' freezing at the mo! But am looking on ebay first! xxx :j 'Proud To Be Dealing With My Debts' - DFW Nerd member 866 :j0 -

Thanks Sallyx! Wish I was as good sticking to my running
Have been doing a bit here and there but am starting a proper schedule on Monday as am getting fed up with the fact I have put on a few pounds so wanna work really hard to loose them for Xmas! And of course it will help make me run a bit faster with less to cart about! I am planning on signing up for Bath half as still a few places left and will have something to aim for and work against. Hope you are getting on ok! xxx :j 'Proud To Be Dealing With My Debts' - DFW Nerd member 866 :j0 -
