    Heya everyone,
Just a mega quick update as am mega busy this weekend! Things are all ok and are looking promising for paying that dam Lloyds card off. Have been checking my bank balance to see what is gonna be coming out Direct Debit wise before payday on the 27th but I swear I am forgetting something crucial :(
Have managed to find a beautiful dress for this wedding reception, it was a little more than I wanted to pay as was a tenner but was knocked down from £45 and is really pretty. Emily has a jumper too which was £7, again a little more than I wanted to pay out but at least she can use it again after the reception.
Hope everyone is well and will be back on soon for more of a proper update! xxx

I got it from the Next Clearance store...and it is truly beautiful! I don't think it 'fits' me perfectly as is a little on the clingy side but is meant to be as that is the type of material, but it is lovely...lots of earthy colours and my friends commented on how lovely it was! They had quite a lot in there...I hated being in there as wanted to buy soooo much! Last year I would have done as well, but thank goodness that my money habits have changed for the better!
When is the wedding do? Do you have long to wait or can you pick something up in the sales when they start?

  • Just a mega quick visit to say hello! Have been busy all day down with the folks!
I have had to use up my overtime money as remembered the money that I completely forgot was gonna come out of my wages before payday on the 27th! So needed to compensate for that in that I used the money to buy mine and Emily's clothes for the Wedding reception. Needed petrol too to get me to my folks so whacked £20 in the tank and have just over a tenner left :( Oh well, these things happen I suppose!
Got my birthday money from my dad and bro today and came to a whopping £160!!! I nearly passed out with shock! I dunno what I will spend it on...usually by now I would have spent the lot but now my attitude to money has changed, I can't thik of anything I want and can't justify spending it! Will probably either sit on it till the January sales and get some treats or spend it on something for the house, e.g could do with a new chest of drawers and could use the rest for a CD player for the car as have no stereo in there at the mo! I dunno! Was also thinking about using a tenner of it to pay for my dress, then using the £10 to put with my overtime £10 to make a payment of £20 off of the card? Will have a think but am in no rush at all!
Righteo, off to iron the clothes for tomorrow and get to bed! Nighty night all x

  • Ooooooh £160, how fantastic!!
Saving it for the Xmas sales might be good - you could get tons in the Next sale with that! Buy a treat though, something you wouldn't normally buy. I desperately need perfume, used to have loads what with going on holiday every yr I stocked up on duty free and the ex always got me some at Xmas, but now with no man I don't get that treat! And to buy perfume for myself seems like a reeeeall luxury.....

Anyway, you enjoy the money, you deserve to, you pay enough off those cards to earn a little treat:beer:

  • Hello everyone! Haven't been on here for what seems like ages...but is only a few days! I think I am gonna spend some of my birthday money on a car stereo if I can't sort mine out and maybe some little bits for the house! I kinda begrudge spending money on the stereo but I need one! Might see if there is any way of sorting out the old one, basically it has locked itself as I had the battery changed and I don't know the 4 digit code to unlock it! Will have to do some digging about online first to see if there is a way around it.

Have been mega busy at work which keeps my mind occupied. I am soooo longing for payday in 2 weeks so that I can try and get that dam Lloyds card gone!

Have been slowly trying to do some tidying up! Shredding bits etc and filing things away! Pretty boring really sorry!

Right I am off to look at ebay and try to see if I can stay awake long enough to list something! xxx
