    Hi Donna
First of all sorry for taking so long to get back on your thread. Life is mad at the moment for various reasons so I am not checking threads as much as maybe I should.

Sorry that my comments upset you. But on the other hand sometimes it is handy I feel to summarise what has happened and to check whether there has been any progress with things. That way you don't miss out on opportunities to move forwards.

Ref free things to do when Emily is away for the evening, and bf is doing other things. Check out your local library notice board, they will have a lot of things in there that are free cheap. There might be a book club. Or use the library to actually get books out of for free to occupy you when on your own. Swimming is a good one for when Emily sleeps over, a lot of pools have adults only swimming on say at 8pm or later, so you can get stuff out of the way early evening and then go to bed.

hope things go as you plan for the next couple of months. And don't forget to get stuff on ebay, and to post a wanted for storage on your local freecycle groups!!!! :D:D

I want a job that is less than an hour driving away from my house! Are you listening universe?
  • Well £500 will come off when I pay the left over driving money which I am gonna do tomorrow...for real this time :D

That leaves about another £500 I think...I should have about £50 of overtime too so that will be coming off asap leaves £450. I am hoping that I can spend as little as I possibly can this month and pay off another £350 at the end of the month leaving £100! I am due to get my 5% rise back pay from 1st October so that will be 2 months worth, along with another few hours overtime meaning with the minimum payment on the card, I can actually clear the dam thing! But means NO SPENDS WHATSOEVER on anything other than the bare minimum of foodies and perhaps a could of 99p items on ebay for the wedding thing!

Next month with my end of November wages, there will be nowt but minimum payments as I attempt to pay for Xmas without cards! For the first time EVER! :T Will be down from 8 to 3 cards by that point!

It is very hard thinking that I can only spend my money on bare food essentials but I know that it will be sooooo worth it to get rid of another card! I have been so very lucky with my lovely little Mikey the Micra to have some money left over!

I want that next card to be gone by end of April if possible...that would be AWESOME!!!

This month is a lucky one if I can get rid of the Lloyds card. Just a case of going all out and actually using that £500 car money too! I will be chuffed after November when my bike to work payments stop too...:T Looking good!

Keep on at it beanielou! You can do it :) :T xxx

Well done Donna, i reckon you are going great guns.:j :T

Hi chev, i think you have motivated us all hun, we could all do with a friend like you to keep us in the straight and narrow, and i suppose that is the beauty of these diaries..thanks from me as i have had a re think on stuff.:D

Edited to add Happy Birthday Donna, hope you get lots of yummy pressies.x

Thanks for the birthday wishes guys!

My folks and bro are giving me money (which my dad made me promise was NOT to go towards debt!) which gets hard when I don't really have anything I want as I can never justify spending money anymore so may end up waiting till the new year sales! Nowt feels better than clearing debt but I won't use the money for that! My boyf is gonna be taking me and Em's out for a meal and he brought me a ticket to see Metallica next year...rock on!

Have been busy working from home today as Emily's school had a powercut first thing and they sent all the kiddies home! Some of them couldn't get home so they stayed here and luckily for me they occupied themselves! Mental!
