  • Yep it certainly is! I really need to make more of an effort to keep everything updated and all together. I worry sometimes that I don't have nothing to do or say until payday arrives but I need to think past that and get on with it! I worry way too much for my own good...I know I shouldn't as it just makes matters worse! I am such a silly moo at times! xxx

  • Hi again Donna,
Thought I'd drop in and say hello again...I have been reading your diary all the time still, but just not posting. I let my own diary go too, just couldn't be bothered.

To be honest I think I Know how you've been feeling asit sounds pretty much the same asme!! I don't have many friends, a few but they're all married...the only single friend I have is desperate for a man, so if I go out with her it's on a man hunt, which I can't be bothered with at all!!!!

I sometimes feel the girls are growing up fast and don't need me, I worry what I'll do at weekends and school hols in a few years. Also they do nothing around the house, wellyoungest tries, but G expects me to wait on her hand and foot...which I seem to do!!

Anyway, I just wanted to let you know that you're not the only one.....it does get lonely and is hard work bringing up kids on your own. I'm permanently tired too...but I haveCrohn's, which isnt actually a problem, I forget I have it as it's kept under control but I do get tired with it. Then when I'm tired I feel sorry for myself, having to do everything on my own!!!

Oh I seem to have moaned on....
Take care...easy to say to someone else isn't it but we dont do it to ourselves!!!!
    ;)

    Hiya Millyscarlet!
Great to hear from you! It is easy to let it go isn't it...I get to the point where I think I don't have anything to say and no money to pay anymore debt off and jsut get in a right ol' state!
I can sympathise with the bit about having few friends ans the singletons being basically maneaters! I can't be bothered with all that to be honest! If I didn't have my boyf around, I sooooo would not be on the hunt for another! More hassle than they are worth!!! If I do ever go out which is very rare, everyone is only interested in getting wasted and I don't have the time, energy or money for that anymore...I feel way past that stage now! Then I just feel old and realise that actually, I don't have anything in common with any of the people I am out with either :(
It is scary how quickly kids grow up. Keep on thinking that in a few years time, she will be off all the time and I will be all alone (apart from the cat!) but at least by then I shold be debt free too so maybe I can get myself a life then?!? I worry about doing so much for Emily as I find that if I run about after her, this is the only way things get done but they take forever! I need to start getting stronger really and having her do things for herself!
How are you enjoying the half term? Emily goes back on Wednesday so I have decided that we will try and do something on Monday / Tuesday of next week if possible as I have taken the half term off and accomplished nothing at all other than playing at being a taxi driver!
Right I need to pop to the shop as we have run out of biscuits! Lol! :)
    Take care xxx

    Hello again!
We've not donemuch in half term at all! Tomorrow we are off to Pontin's at Brean, so not far away, just for the weekend, with my sis, her hub and 3 girls. My 2 very excitied of course, it'll be good to get away.(Hope I get to see X factor on sat hehe)
But I'm like you too..I worry about what I'll do when they're older, especially as I work in a school and have long holidays. I've thought about teacher training, so maybe some studying would keep me busy. Even when they go to their dad's I miss them and rattle about on my own!

SOmetimes I think it's far too much effort meeting blokes, I can see me being on my own forever, I just can't be bothered! I am so used to staying at home that to go out seems an effort, not that I have anyone to go out with anyway!!!

Money wise I'm plodding along nicely, being careful and not going mad, keeping track of it all. But just not paying anything off on the loan I have. I got rid of a couple of small catalogues, but not organised enough to see when I have extra money and make overpayments on the loan. It's at £4600 Ithink, a few years left! Thing is, I dont really have an 'end of month' when you can see what money you have left. I'm paid monthly, but tax credits are weekly and HB fortnightly, so my money seems fairly constant. I need to be more organised I think!!

And to top off my grumpiness, I put on about half a stone over the summer, which isnt huge I Know, but I'm not very big anyway, so it's noticeable! And all my nice clothes are snug, some of last years jeans look awful, with the extra few pounds spilling over the sides haha. I lost a lot of weight when ex and I split up, I hardly ate and was about 8stone, so now feel much lumpier!Arhgghh wish I had some willpower. I'm thinking I might join WW online on Mon, when we're back from Pontin's, thinkng if I pay I HAVE to stick at it!!!

ANyway, hope you're having a good day. Georgia has gone swimming with friends. The friend's big brother is supervising, but first time she's been in town with just mates, bless her, growing up quick! SHe texted me to ask if she could spend the rest of the money I gave her in Claire's!! Em has done our pumpkin, she'd better get on pc and do her homework before we go away for wkend! (Half term hwk, mean!)
How's Emily enjoying secondary? G loves it, they've all grown up A LOT recently, scary!!!

    Bye for now
