As regards to BF ..don't really know what to say. He seems to enjoy himself, hols and weekends a away, and you seem a little bit in limbo, if i have got the wrong end of the stick then i apologize. I would advise having a good talk with him when he gets back, say how you feel and then go from there.
Keep going with everything BOB x
You haven't got the wrong end of the stick
that is what it's like...kinda like he leads a single life and sees me when he wants to and I can't help thinking that some of his feelings are aimed at me. I do need to have a talk with him because if they are aimed at me but he doesn't have the balls to tell me, I want to know sooner rather than later as I love him so very much but need to know that he loves me back.
Pleased about the Barclaycard and think I may see if I can get a BT with them as think you mentioned to me once before? Worth a shot!
Trying to find some red day menus now as think I need to have a few red days a week as think this may help the weight loss. I went to the gym twice this week and went out for a run and will have a run tomorrow morning too. Thought if I am paying for the gym I should use it and am gonna start going a lot more! It is a bit intimidating though as is usually filled with very skinny girls in next to no clothes, make up on too (in the gym)
and they just seem to parade about for the guys...whereas I actually use the machines and not just sit/pose on them and get to be a right sweaty betty! xxx :j 'Proud To Be Dealing With My Debts' - DFW Nerd member 866 :j0 -
You do what's best for you at the end of the day.
Also you put me to shame, regarding the gym, don't know how these stick thin girls stick it, i find it very boring myself..I only really like swimming. I used to go the gym quite a bit, but it really was an excercise in keeping awake..rather have a good walk, at best a good wobble if i feel a speed spurt coming on!Blackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?

Good wobble! :rotfl: I enjoy walking too. I haven't been swimming in a while and would like to start going again soon if I can. Especially as Emily could come too. I don't mind the gym but only if I have my music to listen too. I may try and do a class instead as they are included in the gym fee and I could try and pick one during my lunch hour. Just I have a real problem with co-ordination in that I don't have any! And lots of classes have various patterns and routines which I struggle with! I enjoy the running but have to motivate myself to actually start which is a problem in itself! I know I feel better at the end though and glad I did it! xxx:j 'Proud To Be Dealing With My Debts' - DFW Nerd member 866 :j0 -
I went to a free aerobics class..OMG what a bunch they were, i didn't understand a word she was saying, everyone else did though!! They all looked like rejects out of fame, with head sweatbands, arm wrist ones, leggings etc.
The worst though were the two gay guys at the back, they were a pair of !!!!!es and you should have heard them commenting on folk..i expected it off of some of the women, but they honestly had no reason to call anyone, especially as one of them had those shorts on that ride up at the side, and a pair of lycra shorts on underneath. Unfortunately the shorts had a hole in, and i just had to say to him..
Darling are you calling everyone or just winking at them?
After a few expletives in my direction, luckily the class ended...I was surprised anyone went again with the !!!!!iness in there. The week after there they were lined up through the gym..suckers. Needless to say i didnt go again, but would have loved to be a fly on the wall to hear the comments from those two.Blackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?

Hi Donner
Can't believe you've paid another card off already! If you can do that with one wage you are doing REALLY well. As for Tesco being your next target I fully understand the psychological benefit of paying off the 'smaller' ones off first but I would seriously look at the one with the highest interests rate on first as the more you get it down the less the interest will cripple you?
Maybe it would help you to list all the CCs on here with the interest rates and amounts and get peoples opinions. Just a thought to save you money in the long run.
As for the BF it seems to be all on his terms this relationship? Does he ask if you mind when he goes away so much? I mean I am not one for stopping the OH going away for the weekend etc but this seems to be crossing the line? Maybe I'm wrong but what about what you want from this relationship? Is it a case of you fit in with his 'ideal' of a relationship or is a 2 way street and compromise? What I am saying is maybe its time you both put your cards on the table honestly and then see if there is somewhere you can meet in the middle or if its time to call it a day? I know it hurts but some things are not meant to be forever. People are sometimes in our lives for a reason, a season or a lifetime and it may be time to find out which one he is.

Well done on the card donna. I'm a single parent too and don't usually get much nastiness directed at me but it does wind me up when folks go on general rants about how awful we are and how bad it is for the kids. Anyway sod them we're doing ok! Often those with "perfect lives" are hiding a whole lot under the veneer.
As for the BF I have no constructive advice but maybe you do need to have a chat and work out the way forward - maybe he's unsure if you want to commit as you are very settled in your routine with Emily. The only way of knowing is really to have a chat about it all.Mortgage OP 2025 £7500/7000Mortgage OP 2024 £7700/7000

Donna you are doing so well paying off your cards, think you should give yourself a big pat on the back!
I have to agree with others and think that BF does take advantage of you, its supposed to be an equal relationship and he seems to be running the show. I don't want to upset you, but you have to think about yourself and your needs, what you want from the relationship.
Anyway enjoy your run tomorrow, I might actually go myself
take care of yourself hun

Ha ha! That's really funny!!! It is awful when people feel the need to make horrible comments, fair play to you for saying that! I know what you mean about the Fame rejects, just plain ridiculous some of them...if the women are not caked in slap with hardly any clothes you have the men making lots of grunting noises trying to make out they are really tough! xxx:j 'Proud To Be Dealing With My Debts' - DFW Nerd member 866 :j0 -

Heya KM! I will have to do that with the cards, I will put all the statements to one side and then right them up! Thanks for the advice...I didn't see it as a lecture! It's nice to hear what people think and everyone on here, including you are correct as ever! I probably do fit in with his ideal as he can lead a single life and see me whenever he feels like it, which is starting to feel like it is less and less really, even though we work together I still hardly see him on his own (we don't really talk at work as he doesn't like to) and he knows I never have any plans so it is not like I am gonna be busy. He just seems to pop over, I cook him a dinner and then he uses my PC and we go to bed! I hate the fact that I feel like I love him more than he loves me as I feel like a complete fool. It hurts very much but if he doesn't love me, I deserve to knoe so that I can one day have the chance to find someone who does. xxx:j 'Proud To Be Dealing With My Debts' - DFW Nerd member 866 :j0 -
I usually prefer going to the gym to classes but some of them have been quite a good laugh but I think it depends on your luck - generally I'd say the bodycombat type usually has quite a few blokes there too and isn't too intimidating but on the other hand my fave class ever would have to be a salsacise class which was all women but very few of the type you are talking about and just a bloomin good laugh! best bet is just to try some out till you find something that suits you.Mortgage OP 2025 £7500/7000Mortgage OP 2024 £7700/7000
