    Oh Donna
That is SOOOOO out of order, I would be tempted to get myself a takeaway, bottle of wine and lock the door. When he turns up no doubt drunk, wanting to stay over tell him to P*** off.
Why are men so insensitive sometimes.

Completely agree, treat yourself, do not let him in but do go to the door and see if (while he is so drunk) you can get him to hand over the money for the chinese and the wine then firmly shut the door in his face :p Then let him grovel the next day... If he doesn't then maybe its time for a BIG talk.

Get this...he is now trying to turn it all round and make out it was all me and I was confused. He claims that he told me that work would pay for his meal and that he was getting the later train. Said he never agreed to getting a meal as I should have known he was going to be back late. Earlier on this week he told me that he was finishing in the afternoon that is why when I found out about Emily staying at her friends, I planned the evening which he told me yesterday sounded like a really good idea. !!!!!!! He is very clever in trying to make me feel like this is all my fault and my doing and that he never agreed to anything. Why doesn't he understand how I upset I am am stop trying to make out this is my fault and that I am making him angry?

  • I know its hard when you are absolutley fuming but you can't argue with someone who is drunk!! Best thing to do is ignore him tonight as he will only get you more upset with his drunk nonsense and defensiveness because he is wrong. I would wait until tomorrow when you can at least have a sensible rational frank talk.

Easier said than done I know! I have had many any argument with someone who has had a drink but as I am able to stand back in this instance its obvious to me it will just upset you more so tonight might be better if you took the 'silence is golden' approach.

    Good luck

Donna I agree with KM. Stay away from him tonight as it will only upset you more. He's drunk and probably knows he's in the wrong and that is why he is being so defensive. You deserve better than his stupid behaviour, your a strong independant woman and its about time he got a good !!!! kicking!

Now reckons that he had no idea about any of it and that he is not a mind reader...what a !!!!!! muppet!
You are right I will just ignore him and go for the silence is golden approach...times like this I could do with a drink but have kinda given up booze for a bit so no go there! Oh well....back to my pasta n' sauce...awesome...not! I think I will make him pay for a taxi to and from the cinema and also my cinema ticket and a load of ice cream and sweets too...wonder if I can get away with that? Failing that, tempted on going on my own! xxx
