Wish I never found the spending so addictive! ;) Suppose that is why I feel like it is taking over my brain...just want everything paid off so badly, so I can try and have some sort of normality in that when I get paid, I actually have some money to spend on something other than debt!

    Hey Donna
Just checking in to see how your going as ive not read your diary for a few weeks. You have done so well paying off the CC, even if you have had to spend a little on it. Hows the running going? Ive joined up for the race for life and also intend on doing a 10k one in August...got to get training!
Have a lovely weekend with BF away and try and enjoy yourself without spending too much!
I'll make a wish, take a chance, make a change And breakaway. I'll take a risk, take a chance, make a change and breakaway ....

Hello everyone! Sorry I haven't been around for a bit but have been away and also mega busy! Weekend away went well, well well enough! I really enjoyed it apart from in the evening when everyone else just wanted to get hammered and I was the only one who didn't drink. Not too good when everyone else wants to play drinking games and you are stone cold sober! Glad I didn't drink to be honest as would rather save my money and at least I didn't spend most of the weekend feeling hanging like some people did! We went on a lovely walk on the Saturday, was lovely. On the Sunday evening when I went to get Emily from my dad's house, we went out for dinner at a local pub and it was really nice. I love my dad so much and really miss him. Have been doing the garden and keeping the place tidy and I am pleased with the house at the minute! My room still needs a tidy through!

Think I should have enough money to pay off the Barclaycard very soon following my ebay sales! I also have over £20 in my pigsback but don't know what to get, crazy as I haven't done anything to earn it really! I might get a Boots voucher and then I can use it to buy my nephews present as it is his first birthday next month.

Thinking that I will go for the Tesco credit card next! Can't wait to get rid of the Barclaycard...won't be long now! My ebay item which went for the most money has been paid, just a case of they need to collect it as is heavy. Hopefully they will arrive in the next few days and once I am sure they are happy, I will transfer it to my bank account and then it can be used for the card.

Can't wait for May as this month has been a right mess money wise!

Have started doing regular runs now to help me prepare for the next half marathon in the summer! Better now the weather is getting nicer!

Good luck with the race for life and your 10k Sallyx! Sure you will be fine! :) Race for life will be good training for the 10k.

Will be back soon as have to fiddle about with my 'puter which means I will be offline for a bit! Hope everyone is ok!

    xxx

Heya bob! Sorry to hear about your kidney stones :( Must be awful :( Really hope you get better soon. HUGE CONGRATS to dd1! She must be so very relieved! I have been trying to book another test today, a cancellation came up and then within the time it took to speak to my instructor, it had gone. Gonna check again tomorrow and if nowt appears, just book anything.

Really peeved as have be in all day awaiting a delivery which has not arrived...typical. Was meant to go out for a run today and now this has ruined everything! Gonna give them a call in the morning and find out what on earth is going on.

Looks like Emily is going to be staying at her friend's house tomorrow evening so I may get an evening free! So planning on getting the boyf to treat me to that birthday meal he owes me from my birthday last November!!! And maybe a movie too! :)

Only just over a week till payday. Gonna do a proper budget next week too, as will feel happier doing that. Yippee! xxx

Also a bit on the peeved side as the person I sold to on ebay won't be able to pick up the item for a few weeks, so am relectant to transfer the money until I know he is happy...what a mare. I could transfer it I suppose, just not spend any of it until I know he is happy and then put it towards the card, just gonna be slightly longer than I had hoped. Shouldn't grumble I suppose!!! xxx

  • At least you are honest. if it was me i must admit i would be tempted to bank the money, but as you say if not satisfied you would have to repay it. The card can wait!!!
I have decide to bit the bullet and sell on e bay. Have just sneakily bought OH a digital camera for his birthday, he is useless with technology ( so am i)
but it means i get dibs on it. ( sneaky eh)
I have been very dfw, i have vouchers etc and took remainder on interest free through argos, so will have it paid off with rest of e bay earnings. Well that's the plan.
    Hope it works now!!
You will pass your driving test, i know you will. DD1 took some bachs rescue remedy to help her.

Heya bob! Selling on ebay is great...just a word of wisdom (as I had been stung by this before) best to send things recorded delivery when you can...just in case you have to deal with any idiots! I had a right mare once with someone who refused recorded, I sent it, she denied getting it so I sent her the proof of posting for her to make a claim...sent that recorded so know she got it, then she complained to ebay and paypal and got the money back from my account...and I couldn't do anything! Paypal said I couldn't prove she had not received it and I said they couldn't prove that she did not receive it so I got nowhere! You are sneaky! I should take some lessons from you! :) If you need any ebay help, just let me know as I help loads of peeps at work as they call me the ebay queen! I have been advised about the Bachs...may give it a go! May as well as have nowt to loose! xxx

Just had a visit from a man from the Council...wanting to do their Council Audit...new thing apparantly! Made me laugh as he asked a few questions about my house and then said about if my kitchen needed repairing! Now if anyone saw me on the tv, they would have seen that I didn't actually have a kitchen...just a small cupboard and one tiny worktop...so I showed this to him and he said he is putting me down for a new kitchen! Yay! They will really need to put a wall in though really as the previous tennants knocked it down! As many of the cupboards would normally be attached to the missing wall! Well...we will see! Made me laugh seeing his face...he was rather shocked!
