Hello everyone! Just wanted to let you know that I am still alive! Been having a right mare the last few days but all ok now! I am in a rigth state today as next dreaded driving test is this afternoon...and I cannot concentrate at all... :( It will be my 4th test on the 4th day of the 4th month and I am due to finish at 4 minutes pst 4!!! Lets hope they 4's will bring me some luck! I hope so...and so does my credit card which has had to take a hammering to pay for all these tests and lessons...just want to knock this on the head now. Anyway, just gonna try my best and will be chilling out tonight so will be back soon for an update for you all! Hopefully a good one this time! xxx

  • C'mon fess up-how did it go?
My dd1 didn't do so well and this is her 4th, so she is going for a 5th. LOL

Heya bob! Ready to fess up now :( Failed again....was completely gutted and when I got home, I cried non stop for about an hour. So silly I know, but I just couldn't stop. Basically, everything was fine apart from had to do a reverse around the corner. Ended up doing the thing 4 times over, as each of the first 3 times, I would get near the very end ready to stop and secure the car and then a car would appear and I had to drive back to the start and do it again. 4th time I was so nervous, I nudged the kerb at the end thus failing again. I was all alone when I got home so just cried and cried. I had every intention of buying a vast amount of booze this evening, but thought that there was no pint whatsoever, especially as I will be drinking alone, so decided not to bother. Kinda glad of that in a way as at least I won't have a hangover in the morning so I can get my backside out into the garden and try and cut the jungle before any rain and snow get here! I am still feeling low but know that by tomorrow I will be back to normal. Oh and to top it all off, I was declined the Goldfish card too.

What a crappy day but at least I have the next 2 weeks off of work so will be paying the childcare money towards the card. Also have some time to do some serious cleaning up and money / life planning etc as am not going anywhere, just gonna be chilling at home.

Sorry to hear about your dd1 bob...maybe we will both be 5th time lucky eh? It is such a kick in the teeth when you hear them mutter on about how sory they are to tell you that you have failed...I saw so many maniacs out on the road whilst taking my test, was crazy. Our times will come one day...just not today.

I am off to bed in a mo as it has been a long day! Hope you and everyone is well xxx

aw, sorry to hear that. I was hoping this time was it for you but hopefully next time then. Happens to loads of people so don't worry about it but don't suppose that stops it p*ssing you off.
    Have a good weekend though.

  • Oh Donner what a pain and an inconvenience and real downer so so annoying for you when you are trying so hard. Don't want to patronise you by saying better luck next time coz its still too raw. But I hope you are sleeping well and can put it more in perspective in the morning, fingers crossed.

    Take care
