When you look at that Egg balance and that Barclaycard you must be so proud thats amazing!!0 -
I don't think it will be long til you end up clearing that Barclay card... So what will be the next challenge then?

Thanks for that! I am kinda proud...suppose I shouldn't be so hard on myself! Only problem is that the other cards have had a bit put on them for things like the shower, driving lessons and tests etc so that is what I feel guilty about. But I suppose at least I am not running them up willy nilly on rubbish like before, just hate the fact that it is accumulating more debt when I soooo badly want this sorted! xxx:j 'Proud To Be Dealing With My Debts' - DFW Nerd member 866 :j0 -

After the Barclaycard will be the Tesco card I think! The worst card I have has about £4000 on it and the interest on it is HUGE  I need to sort out applying for another card asap...will add that to my list of stuff to do at the weekend...I never heard back from Abbey so should have chased it up, just there is always something or some kind of disaster going on that comes up and gets in the way...I need to pull my finger out, but everything is getting a bit much at the mo and it is hard to take it all in. Can't wait till my 2 weeks off work...will be much needed!
Also AQA is on my list of stuff to look at!xxx

Have you thought about a balance transfer to barcalycard off your highest card. They have a balance of life transfer i think! I have done this myself in the past. Have a look on credit card board for ideas or ring them up and see what you can negotiate- you never know all they can say is no. I have had a look at AQA myself and feel it is a lot of effort for the return, but a poster called KEREN 29 ( i think will check back if different) does this and is happy for folk to pm her about it if necessary.
You are probably a bit overwhelmed at mo simply because you are succeeding, it is the dreaded test soon so that probably doesn't help either. keep planning and plugging away- it will happen.BobxBlackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?

Thanks bob! The only problem with the Barclaycard though is the limit is only £1,100...stingy beggers! Maybe I should ask for an increase? I dunno! Everything is very overwelming...I have sooooo many big ideas and then get frustrated at myself for not sorting it all out! I want too much too quickly and am being impatient! I need to slow it down and make a plan (some kind of life plan) and stick to the dam thing! xxx:j 'Proud To Be Dealing With My Debts' - DFW Nerd member 866 :j0

Well a £1000 pounds at a lower interest rate is better than nowt, what about a bit of a shuffle and see if it helps. have a look at credit card shuffle article and see what can be done. Have you applied for any other 0% cards to see if that will help?Blackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?

Yep your right! Will try and get the card down as much as I can and then transfer to it. Am in 2 minds as to reapply for Abbey or apply for a Goldfish card with 4.9% BT to March 2011!!! They said they give a generous limit...Mmmmmm we shall see! Right may loose internet connection now as about to do some very techie stuff to the work's internet server and have to bounce it...not literally...kinda like an off and on again! Lets hope it comes back to life and then I can get out of here! Be back this evening! xxx:j 'Proud To Be Dealing With My Debts' - DFW Nerd member 866 :j0
