Hello everyone! Have finally got the computer all to myself as Emily has gone out to play! Phew! Hope everyone is well.

I don't know when I am gonna be back on the tele....haven't heard anything since the call back at the start of March! :(

Life is going ok for me at the mo...tried to get a credit increase on my Barclaycard to do a BT but they refused...how very rude! But I have decided that I will do a BT anyway for the amount that I can, which I think is about £1000 from the Tesco card and see if I can clear the left over amount of the £400 or so as soon as possible. Food wise hase been ok as have been using up stuff from the cupboards so am gonna use some of my weekly food budget to pay towards it as well as some of the childcare money which I have saved from Friday / the 2 months Bank Holidays and the Tuesday of next week so that should all help. Looks like I am gonna pick Emily up at least once a week and make sure this money goes to the card. Roll on the summer as when she goes to secondary school, the after school club fees should go as this will save me a bit...and also in October, my bike would be paid off so that is gonna save some money too. Things are slowly looking like they are coming together, just took my big cry earlier on in the week to see that...

Food wise I am happy as have lost some more weight this week, 3lb bringing the total to 5 3/4 lb in the last 2 weeks. I don't want to loose too much as look ill when I do, but would like to get down to about 10 and a half stone or so, so have about 10/11 lb to go.

I have just been talking to my dad on the webcam as he is at my brother's house. It was really funny as he has never seen one before and was amazed! I couldn't stop laughing at his reaction, I take all this IT stuff for granted I suppose! We are off to the cinema tomorrow to watch Iron Man. I have brought sweets and drinks already to save some money. Last time I let Emily get pick'a'mix, she spent £8! Not doing that again!

Me and Emily have been invited to Centre Parks overnight with my boyf's family! Really looking forward to it! We are going to go down around midday and stay till the following evening and use the pool and go biking and do some archery. I haven't worn a swimming costume since Emily was a baby! So am feeling very self concious about it! But will enjoy myself all the same! Nice to be invited along and will be good for Emily to be doing stuff outdoors! I am being taken out for my birthday meal (finally...only 6 months too late!) so won't be dieting that night as plan to scoff myself stupid at the boyf's expense! God knows he owes me!!!

Right, off to find some foodies as am starving! Back soon xxx

Ha ha! Too right I is gonna order big :D starter, main, dessert and coffee too...the works! Shame I have given up booze or I could have racked up a nice big wine bill too! Gonna spend a bit of time tonight saorting out the card payments, as after checking my statements, seems like the last few times I have paid Virgin, the payment has been a day late and the cheeky peckers charged me £12 a time! I need to set up a DD for it really, only card without one. xxx

Have you got online banking? I just set up a regular transfer to any CC online banking and then do a one off transfer for any over payments. Saves me having to think when things need paying and avoids late charges.

Don't mean to teach grandma to suck eggs Donna but set up a standing order instead of a DD on the card then you can change it when it suits you and the bank can't just take money. All the info required to set it up is usually on the statement and it's just as easy to do.
ooo - centreparcs with family... this is sounding like committment!

Heya bob! Can you claim them back can you? Even if I should have paid them earlier? I think they are really out of order charging £12 a time and the payments went to the account the day after, £12 for one day extra is disgusting

Well kinda proud of myself today...earlier on I managed to put up a curtain rail in Emily's bedroom and put her new curtains up. They only just fit, another few millimetres shorter and they would have been too short! I think I exhausted every single swear word under the sun trying to put the thing up...I am no good when it comes to d-i-y, makes me sooooo angry! It is times like this when I wish I had a man about the place to help me rather than me faff about with it on my own and get worked up. I had to do something as the darn cat broke the blinds she had there before...he is the biggest cat in the world I reckon. The average cat is meant to weigh about 3kg, Buzz weighed 8kg at his last weigh-in at the vets almonst a year ago...and he is getting bigger! I hope he doesn't ruin the curtains too! His fur gets everywhere so no doubt he will get hair all over them as he loves sitting in windows!

I haven't heard from the boyf at all today...he has gone to some gig tonight but never told me who he was going with. He was also gonna come over last night but didn't show and he was also meant to pop over today but didn't show either. God, I don't 'alf pick them...usually in this situation I would have text him, but I am not going to bother this time. Will wait for him to text me first...I cannot work him out, sometimes like on Wednesday when I was very upset, he came over and looked after me...then he does this? I dunno...men are from another planet! Well some of them are anyway...

I think living with Bob would be better - she rocks at DIY whereas I've lived with two men and both times had to do all DIY by myself.

I believe it's official...Men are from Mars and women from Venus...:p

    Yay! That would be wicked!

Actually thinking about it, I have lived with 2 guys since having Emily, one for 2 years and one for 7 (the muppet who got me into this mess...nasty piece of work too :( ) and both of them were carp at d-i-y too!

Least I get the job done, albeit a bit on the rubbish side! But I do try!
