Heya bob! Can you claim them back can you? Even if I should have paid them earlier? I think they are really out of order charging £12 a time and the payments went to the account the day after, £12 for one day extra is disgusting

yes you can claim them back, add up charges on your statement and use Martin's charge calculator to find the interest. The first letter will tell you no, but put it in again and you will get it.Mine was for something similar, as i had paid them off and was a day late in paying the remainding few quid. I think the total was £10 owed, i was a day late, thought i had paid and forgot, then next month the same, as i didn't realise i owed the charges:confused: . Stupid of me and very quickly sorted out. £24 charges for that amount ..how dumb was i? So i felt i had nothing to lose claiming them back

Well done on the curtain front as well. We will make a DIYER of you yet. BLoomin cats eh?

I think living with Bob would be better - she rocks at DIY whereas I've lived with two men and both times had to do all DIY by myself.

I believe it's official...Men are from Mars and women from Venus...:p

I have to in my house, as he once said DO IT YOURSELF PET (sums up our relationship:rotfl: ) So i did:D
I also sort out neighbours stuff as well, but i know my limits and some things i just won't attempt.
I have a new project which is to re lay our garden path. Am looking forward to that, as it is crazy paving and full of weeds at moment. The weeds seem to love weed killer, bloody thrive on it they do:rotfl: So will really look forward to exterminating them:cool:

Fab! Will try and claim them back and see what gives! Bunch of cheeky peckers the lot of them!

Good luck with the path! I need to clear my back yard area of all the weeds but will need some super strong weed killer so I hope mine don't thrive on it or I will not be a happy bunny! Imagine you must get a good feeling after all the hard work! I long for the day when I have a lovely house for me and Emily...and the huge cat! I love my cat to pieces! He is my little baby and I fuss over him something rotten!

Can't wait to see my dad and brother tomorrow, I miss them like crazy! I hope this film is good, I haven't seen any trailers but even if it ain't, will be nice to spend time with them both and take Emily out too!

Yep, but have added a bit to another one of the cards last month when I had a really, really bad month :( I am awaiting the statment for that card. This month I hope to pay off quite a bit as had a little amount of overtime and ebay sales etc and the re-arranging of the childcare too. Also trying really, really hard on the foodies front to keep costs down. With the boyf being away for 2 weeks this month, shouldn't spend much on food or doing anything at all, so want all available funds to pay off debt and nowt else. Am gonna be mega strict this month and next payday I get a small increase so that is all good! I hate the fact that last month I had to put things on the card, but everything seemed to go wrong at once....shower broke, Emily's bedding got ripped (methinks by the cat who then went on to break her blinds) curtains put up today, Boyf's birthday present and weekend away was very expensive etc but all that is done with now. So really looking forward to knuckling down this month!

Well despite the 'extra' you had to spend, 2k is some going remember that so imagine what position you will be in by the end of the year. You may not be debt free by then but it will be a MUCH smaller and manageable debt by then if you keep going at this rate.

Boo to the BF tell him if he wants to play the no respect game not to expect you to respect him either and what kind of relationship would he have then, is that how he wants it?

The film is supposed to be funny, i must admit i laughed out loud at some of the one liners on Jonathon Ross last night. I hope you enjoy it.
Regarding the card front, everyone has months like that. You are tackling stuff head on now and in a while it won't seem like that as you will have built up a contingency fund.

Will do! I am very lucky, cause my horrible ex caused so much trouble I never really saw them for the 7 years of my life which I wasted with him...biggest mistake of my life and hate the fact I will never get those years back :( But I will NEVER put anyone before my family ever again. I love them to pieces and we get along soooo well, we are always laughing and joking, so much so my sides hurt! We get along very, very well now and I remember how lucky I am to have them in my life every single day...that's why it is harder living away from them.
