  • Thanks Ellidee! I also had forgotten that when I sold the Camcorder, they were gonna pay me at the start of the month. So that's another £80 I will be able to pay off that card...can't wait! I had completely forgot so that's all good!

:T definately on a roll, i'm thinking of selling a few things so i can go to cornwall sooner. I am getting withdrawel symptoms and have my eye on a small cottage for about £350. But i know i need to pay off my last 2 cards, only small ones but the money would go a long way into shifting them.

  • Ha ha! Hope so! Martin ROCKS! Whoop whoop :) Do you go to the SW classes? I am really trying to loose some weight ready for the Half Marathon in 2 1/2 weeks but am trying to work out what to do...I am now cooking the same food for DD as for me and she could do with gaining some weight whereas I need to shift it! I don't know whether to stick to the SW principles and try to do it as cheap as possible, just give DD other bits too or to give it up, eat cheaply but healthy as possible and keep up with the exercise to try and shift some weight? I just don't know!

I did do, but found it repetative, so i do it myself at home. I liked the consultant and the other woment there, and i also thought i would try and save some pennies, as i can't justify it when not working full time. My children are naturally skinny and eat like horses so perhaps do a bit of extra baking for her and get her to help. some great recipes on the old style thread and very healthy as you know what is going in them. so long as she is healthy i wouldnt worry too much. I have enjoyed the cooking as my dd2 is a diabetic and i have played around with recipes to reduce sugar and not taste so she can have treats. I'll find the link for you and post it in a mo:D

I know i'm torn between the holiday and the debt.We could do the same later on in the year, but go in the tent. i enjoy camping but haven't been since she was diagnosed last year, we went in a caravan instead as felt she needed home comforts- not that we rough it in the tent either its quite posh with 3 rooms and facilities:D

  • Thanks for that! Will have a read of those!

Good idea! I will get some bits together and try and get her to do some baking at the weekend and then maybe she can take some bits into school at lunch time too!
