Hi donner, I use a lot of frozen veg, and most places do frozen mushrooms both whole and sliced- they do shrink a bit when you use them up though.
Hope the driving lessons work out ok. I usualy get my frozen veg from farmfoods as they often do vouchers off, as in spend £5 get £1 off- so worth it as bags are very big.Blackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?

Thanks for that! I seriously need to check out Farm Foods...we have one in Bristol but I would need a car really...or maybe I could cycle down there? I could do with a bigger freezer really as only have a small freezer section. Years ago I used to have a stand alone one...Huge chest freezer, I miss it! Should have a looksy on Freecycle really.:j 'Proud To Be Dealing With My Debts' - DFW Nerd member 866 :j0

I was offered a chest freezer but had no where to put it. I don't think farm foods do deliveries, but i have thought of a cunning plan- next time you are on a driving lesson go there, it will be great for maneuvering round things and you can stock up and drive home.Blackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?

Just a mega quick update tonight...went out for a run after work and am off to bed in a mo! The lovely guy from work is refusing to take the insurance money that I was going to pay him for adding me onto his car insurance! Really shocked and so grateful for his act of kindness! What a sweetie! Which helps no end as I slightly miscounted the money I has saved to put to one side for when the Inland Revenue tell me that I owe them when April gets here! But with that money, I am gonna use it with the Ebay money I wanted to pay, which with me screwing everything up makes it £50 combined, I will pay it off of my Barclaycard. £50 is still great to pay off extra so that is good! There was a day when I would have wasted that money in a second! Have been mega healthy today too so am dead chuffed there! Have some overtime due tomorrow so that will come off of the card too! Whoop whoop! I also plan that from tomorrow until March payday, I am gonna write down every spend to the last penny as hope that will help me keep things under control. Righteo I need my bed now! See you all soon! xxx:j 'Proud To Be Dealing With My Debts' - DFW Nerd member 866 :j0

Right, have paid off the £50 to my Barclaycard, taking it down to £850. It is the lowest amount out of the 6 remaining cards so I will be attacking that one! Since January, I have managed to get rid of that dam Egg card (£800) and £300 off of the Barclaycard so that is fab news! £1,100...blimin' heck! Feeling VERY determined now! Roll on end of April as I am due to get a pay rise of about £700 per year! Hooray!:j 'Proud To Be Dealing With My Debts' - DFW Nerd member 866 :j0
