I'm doing my 3rd race for life this year on the 17th May at Haverfordwest. I don't run I walk it and it is a great day. I've lost a few relatives to cancer and so will be doing it for all of them.

To Sue-UU, just wanted to let you know, that my dear FIL is doing well! So much better than expected! He's having another CT scan in 4 weeks time. We really can't believe the good times that are happening, as at one stage we didn't think he had any good times left!

My DH still hasn't been tested, he can't face it yet! Thanks Sue-UU for all of your positive comments!:A

If anyone else wants to sponsor me, here's the link to my story!

Kirsty - I was so very thrilled to see your latest update on your dear FIL and I'm sure I was almost as elated as you all are, but then we've shared quite a time with it all. It sounded more promising last time after that very rough period and he'd been so very pulled down by it all. However, it seems as though he was then able to throw himself into getting the best out of life no matter what the future holds, you all too! What a wise man he is, immensely courageous too! Maybe those initial treatments have done him so much good after all.

I sincerely hope your DH gives it more thought and gets tested so that IF anything is detected something can be done while he's young. He's so much younger than his Dad, but maybe in time he'll think again, but he knows what's best for now.

I'm delighted to see how much you've raised already Kirsty! Congratulations!

Love, Sue (PS, I never forget him each night, you all too, I promise you!)
