Just signed up to do RFL on June 8th in Maidstone. Quite nervous, I haven't done any running since school, and I was awful at it then!

Good luck to everyone who's doing race for life this year, I'm doing my 2nd this year in Derby, did Donnington Park last year and had a fantastic evening! (worried it would be cancelled cos of the weather but the sun shone for us!!!) For anyone who's thinking about doing it, JUST DO IT!!!! You wont regret it!! Oh and for any blokes who're reading this, dont forget to do your bit too! Whether it be sponsoring someone, volunteering at the race or going along to offer some moral support to friends who're taking part!!!!!

Mum and I will be doing Race For Life this year on the 25th June in Peterborough. We will be 'racing' in memory of my Aunt Maureen, who we lost in June last year, and my nan, who was taken from us 11 years ago.

Race for Life will be particularly hard for my mother, who suffers with Rheumatoid Arthritis and can barely climb the stairs some days - However, she is determined to do the 5k Race for Life. Although we will be walking! LOL!

Please, if you can even spare us a little, we are hoping to raise at least £100 each.

I'm doing all 3 Race for Life events in Northern Ireland again this year. I have been taking part in RFL for the last number of years and really enjoy it. I have never ran the Race and am usually last cos I spend so much time talking to people as I walk round.
