Hiya
I've never actually been a victim myself of this type of thing, mainly due to the fact I've never been on a dating site, (I'm too young and they seem way too vile) I just hate the concept of them, because the first thing that obviously attracts most people to a profile is the picture - how they look, what basis is that to form a steady relationship with someone?! < I know this probably sounds totally immature but I'd like to think I have a point (somewhere).
To answer your problem, could you perhaps see the other people this person has contacted and ask them if this has also happened to them, then you could some sort of proof to take it further, because its so mean of dating sites to dash peoples' hopes and money like that!0 -
£32!! sorry love, what a waste of money. I have a mate who keeps offering to introduce me on one of those dating sites, I can't think of anything I'd hate more....she however is forever on about the new guys she's met.

How rude of him!
You know I'd try and think of the £32 as a cheap way of finding out what a nomark he was. If he'd mailed you back and you ended up meeting him you'd have had phone bills, maybe a new outfit, fares to meet up, maybe meals out and the likes. You could have been further down the line when you discovered how lacking in manners he was!0 -
Crumbs don't even get me started in the free one's :-)0

Nope!
The worse thing is I had sworn of internet dating, it is soul destroying, even though a friend of mine met her very lovely BF online. She is always nagging me about trying again.
I knew I shouldn't have bothered!
To make matters worse I mostly replied as I hate rudeness and I know how hard it is when you put yourself out there and people don't even bother to reply, I thought I was being nice :-) and I suppose I very tiny bit of me thought of my friend and how happy she is!0 -

I met my husband on an internet dating site, so they're not all bad. As you've spent your hard earned money, why not give it a go.0
