    morning all!

scuzz - hope the eye soon feels better - sounds awful!

AMIE - stephen Tompkinson is tasty i agree!:D

(((hugs))) to all those feeling poorly x

Not feeling too good myself ATM, woke up in the night feeling sick and dizzy, wobbled around the room when I got up to go to the toilet, it went off after a while but came back again later on. Still dont feel right. My head feels like I'm on board a ship, am wondering if it might be a bit of vertigo.

DH went back to work today - hopefully he's got an easy day as his back is't really better yet but lack of money is making him need to get back, he has heard about another job he may apply for which could be lighter work but is unsociable hours so needs thinking about.

OS things to do today are

hang washing on airer and bannisters
make a hotpot in slowcooker for lunches later in week
    paperwork to get upto date
    housework
make a cake or biscuits as the cupboards are bare and I dont want to spend any money so need to use what I've got in stock

Am hoping to watch Messiah from last nightand might go for a coffee later with a friend if I feel upto it.

Hope you all have a great day

    take care xx
    Do what you love :happyhear

    Morning all

non working day to day so I'm celebrating by havgn a kitchen blitz- theres nothing meaningful in my freezer and yet it's full to busting and the cupboards are the same so I'm going to have a bit of an inventory. dd11 came back at a reasonable time last night with a dr who game that her dad had bought in an auction - will he never learn. so far he has surprised us with a hoover without a pipe and a hopscotch game with no 5 or 9 and three 6's as well as a chocolate fountain that I haven't dared to try yet. when I went to put the batteries in the game I found some already in there although the box said that they weren't included - obviously someone had returned it. I will have a look at it today but i think it's beggared.

scuzz that eye sounds nasty - take care of yourself
Aussie if you don't like the emptiness of the house you could get a lodger - I hear they're no trouble at all
I'm going to feed our children non-organic food and with the money saved take them to the zoo - half man half biscuit 2008
  • Morning Guys!

We had a lovely evening with nephew and his wife last night and Lasagne went down well. We had a good chinwag then DD decided we were all going to play Scene-it....it was a good laugh and of course our team won:D They told us last night that they are moving to the IOW in the next 2 months as nephew has been offered a good job there. He's a very bright lad and I think the challenge will do him good.....22 with great career prospects!

DW & WM both on. My helper is here this morning and I have a hospital appointment.

    Anyway, take care everyone.

    Good morning everyone,

dlb - Well done on 3 days, heres to number 4!!!!

Started to read the thread, but LO taking my attention, so i will have a proper read later!!!

Had a really bad nights sleep last night (not difficult for me) and im feeling it this morning, which again is unusual for me. I tend to survive on not a lot of sleep normally, so last night mustve been bad.

Nothing really happening today, might pop in to see a friend to help him sort out his computer - i do think he has already done it, but will be nice to speak to another adult and have a cuppa!!! LO likes to go to different places, so will be nice for him too.

WM already on and almost finished, so hopefully i will get it all hung up before we leave for the school run, also need to give the bathroom and toilets a good clean - was a bit slack at the weekend. Think i will also make some vegetable soup - my healthy eating starts this week!!! Ive decided i dont need to diet, just cut out the junk and stick to proper meals and not snacking - i dont have to eat on the run, im sure i can find 5 - 10 mins where i can sit and eat my lunch!!! Might pop to the bank later as i have some change to pay in and thats about it.

OK, this has taken ages to type, hope everyone has a lovely day.
    Take care xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
