If it was me or OH and it was something I was going to be able to use (not often anything like that on our plates) I wouldn't have an issue with it - prob wouldn't use it to give to guests thoughI'd reheat and eat my own portion of half eaten food later that day or the next day, but I wouldn't expect anyone else to have to eat my saliva tainted leavings
Not really any different to kissing your OH, or trying a bit of their dinner when out (and how often have we all done that)

I'm a bit funny with things like that so I wouldn't personally but if you've got a stronger disposition than me why not?
My flatmate in first year of uni used to cook a massive thai curry for himself, eat half of it then cover the plate in clingfilm and stick it in the freezer for the next day!£2023 in 2023 challenge - £17.79 January0 -

Kinda begs the question why he didn't just put half away before plating up but I guess it cut down on the washing up. Reminds me of a guy I used to work with, apparently at uni he'd cook a massive chilli one night, then just leave it in the pan on the stove, reheating it every time he wanted some that week - goodness knows how he never got food poisoning :eek:Feb 2015 NSD Challenge 8/12JAN NSD 11/16

What is a step too far when it comes to moneysaving for you?
New OH was very surprised I don't want to share bathwater (not a bath, just the water). Seems really yucky to me and it's ok, we've got a boiler full of enough water for the two of us. No matter how hard up my parents were, we all got clean bathwater, even if it was only a few inches!
He mentioned it to his mum, who also found it odd that I was horrified at the thought of second-hand bathwater, as she thinks it's normal. Funnily enough - she is horrified at the thought of recycling leftovers (food) into new meals, which I do all the time. She doesn't understand why we don't just chuck them away. She spends loads on shopping and a good third of it goes in the bin. I hate to think what she'd think of the pot of potato peelings, carrot tops and floppy veg that are in my freezer waiting to turn into soup.
Just goes to show how we all have our own limits :rotfl:[STRIKE][/STRIKE]I am a long term poster using an alter ego for debts and anything where I might mention relationship problems or ex. I share bath water with OH all the time. I have to go first though as he is always filthy (dirty farm job) whilst I am just slightly grubby. It seems such a waste to empty out the water after I have literally just had a rinse in it.0

i share bath water with my 4 year old. its more of a time thing than a money saving thing. our shower leaks and most nights after working 10 hours we are both too tired to run two baths. i shared bath water with my sisters too. i know we are clean so not really a problem. not sure id share with the boyfriend although my parents sometimes do
my dad was brought up on a farm as were we so hot water was valuable.

I always shared bathtime with my 2 older brothers when a kid, then again this was during the power cuts in the early 1970's and our hot water was off an oil fired boiler, so no electric meant no pump! My 2 sons had shared baths until they were about 6/7, and I often share a bath with DH, as long as he scrubs my back0

OK, thinking about it, yes I used to share a bath with my son when he was little. And I shared a bath with my nieces when we were all little. Seems different to me. Kids have fun playing together. And they aren't that dirty.
I've also shared a few baths with OHs and we've had fun playing together as well, lol.
But I'm talking about one person has a bath, has a good scrub, climbs out, another person climbs in... I guess it's silly but to me, yuk. I don't want to bathe in someone else's scrubbed-off dead skin flakes and microscopic bits of god knows what.
I can understand wanting to save time. But if it's to save hot water, I'd rather just have a bath of my own half-full.
Looks like I might be the odd one out with feeling like that?[STRIKE][/STRIKE]I am a long term poster using an alter ego for debts and anything where I might mention relationship problems or ex.
