I reckon that all these people who won't share bath water have, at some point, pee'd in the bath and they fear that everyone does it0

The thought of sitting in someone else's used bathwater makes me feel quite ill!
I don't like making meals from leftovers either. I have always hated leftovers. I either cook small portions or cook a lot and immediately freeze portions.
I won't buy nasty cheap loo roll. My bum deserves better. Ditto feminine hygiene products. My lady parts don't do cheap!
I won't re-use tea bags, but I am a bit of tea snob.
I won't do anything illegal. I know someone who buys all their kids presents from a bloke down the pub the week before Christmas. It's very obvious they are stolen Christmas presents. I also don't like grabbing more than my fair share. For example, I work in a library and we sometimes have stuff to give away (Bookstart packs obviously, but also freebies from publishers etc). Some parents will try every trick in the book to get their kids multiple free items. I couldn't bring myself to deprive someone else of something by taking more than one.0 -
sorry but I would draw the line at washing the mayo of coleslaw and freezing the veg bits as was discussed on here the other day0

I'll re-use and recycle pretty much anything, but I can't bare sharing bath water these days. We had to share growing up and I still cringe thinking about getting in to my brothers used bath water
he was younger and a dirty little beast. I was last in and he ALWAYS took great delight in peeing in the water before getting out.....
To this day I still hold that grudge lol!
Who wants to get into a bath full of somebodies filth?
Examples:
1.Butt juices
2.Naughty bits leakage/grot (males as well as females!)
3.Possibly large amounts of Pee (lookin' at you bro! )
4.Armpit/cheesy foot grot
As for food, the phase "Did you drool in that?" is common here0 -

lol you have a good pointI'm trying so hard to be thrifty, but it doesn't come naturally. You lot are an inspiration!JUST LOVES THE O/S BOARD0 -
I would happily share bath water with DH, me first tho of course
My DD's will never take a bath as they can't stand the thought of laying in the same water your butt's in, I shower 99% of the time now but I have to say if I have a bath my first thought is not about my bottom sharing the same water as the rest of me as I know how clean I am before getting in!
We never have any left over's on plates as what we don't eat, DH eats but then he can eat for England!0 -
I don't like even sitting in my own bathwater! Due to allergies I have to avoid bubbles, so just use soap in the bath, but as soon as the water goes opaque from the soap I start getting antsy to get out. We all have our own bath water and all bathe most days - the bath gets disinfected after each bath too! I think some of the feeling must come from growing up in Asia, there is the feeling there it's pretty disgusting to sit in your own dirty water rather than rinsing down the drain with a shower. No buying unnecessary toiletries 2014. Epiphany on 4/4/14 - went into shop to buy 2 items, walked out with 17!0

Thank you for a real giggle and a precious memory, everytime my Mum handed me my baby brother into the bath, he peed, don't recall that it bothered me very much, as it usually missed the bath and sprayed my Mum :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:Slimming World at target0 -
