I can't pluck things. We get a fair few free birds from my parents and I can't bear the sensation of pulling the feathers out. Husband likes to pluck as long as I do the cooking afterwards0

I would never ever buy cheap meat. I will only buy it from the more expensive supermarket ranges and preferably from a local farm. I don't even eat meat but buy it sometimes for my suffering boyfriend! Def. rather ve veggie than buy meat from mistreated animalsWeight loss: Start weight: 80kg; Current Weight: 77kg; Target weight: 55kg0

I can't stand using vinegar to clean with. The smell does linger and it stinks! There are many things in life that will catch your eye, only a few will catch your heart. Pursue those.0

i cann't and will not ever boil up bones and carcus to make stock. EEewwww the jelly gunk just turns my tummy and as for bones. don't get me started.
i have only in last coupe of years been able to cook a whole chicken and not use just the breast's. i can now take all meat off. but i leave it at that. i really struggle with anything on a bone. no idea why, but i just can't do it.0 -
I can't abide supermarket eggs ,I have to buy decent free range eggs or not at all.I tried once with some from tesco's and they were awful, the yolks were pale lemom and disgusting to look at, and tasted even worse. My local butcher sells gorgeous eggs at £2.20 a doz and they are big, usually brown and have a deep orange yolk ,brilliant for 'chooky eggs and soldiers' for both my DGS's and myself0

Glad you spelt that sentence correctly:A
Man plans and God laughs...Perhaps travel cannot prevent bigotry. But by demonstrating that all people cry, laugh, eat, worry and die, it introduces the idea that if we try to understand each other, we may even become friends.0 -
Another offal rejecter here ...:o
I won't buy reduced price meat that has started to turn colour. I know it doesn't show when it's cooked, but..... _pale_
And porridge - no matter how it's cooked the texture alone makes me heave.
Polyester clothing - no doubt it's [STRIKE]cheap[/STRIKE] good value & easy to wash, but it feels dreadful & is sweaty. Natural fibres please!
DH grew up having to wear the same pants & socks two days running  MiL has odd ideas about being 'thrifty' (her words, not mine, I called it something far more to the point). Now it's clean on every day & I don't care that it 'doubles the washing'!
I can cook and sew, make flowers grow.0 -
OMG I could not wear knickers two days running  I would sooner wear none0
