so if you put anything on this thread standing up for Dreams, or moaning about the average moaner it gets deleted by the mediators. Therefore you are apparently free to moan about a company on a web site that is supposed to be about money saving tips...................
You were not moaning about other posters threads, you were extremely rude about the people who had posted. These people had experienced a variety of frustrating issues, to say the least and many were after some advice. You may be quite happy to have to take days off work waiting for deliveries, but some of us do not, me included. It is very annoying and is not the service we expect. End of. So if people want to share these experiences to warn others of the risks, then this is one place they should be able to do so without fear of abuse.
That all said, you may notice that I have actually posted a positive experience in dealing with Dreams, just to let people know it doesn't all go wrong, but if Dreams want more coverage like this, then they need to address the issues highlighted, not just here, but other forums too.0 -

Staff been phoned tonight with the news 90 stores are to close, 15 in Scotland.
In addition apparently most, if not all, furniture orders will not be delivered as the suppliers are refusing to fulfill orders and Myers have withdrawn support.
Sad news.
Rumour that the company who own SCS are about to purchase the company after a pre-pack administration...0 -

Have received the following email this evening, so hopefully from a customer point of view, all is well.

As you may have seen Dreams is now under new ownership having been acquired by Sun European Partners and is now trading as Dreams Ltd.!
We are writing to you to reassure you that all orders placed before the transfer of ownership will be honoured in full and in the unlikely event that the product ordered is no longer available we will endeavour to find a suitable alternative product or we will make a full refund.
If you have already got a delivery date booked there is no need to contact us and this will be going ahead as normal and should there be any changes we will contact you direct.
To help answer customer queries we have set up a help page on the website at https://www.dreams.co.uk/questions or if there are specific questions not answered in this section please email us on dreams-support@dreams.co.uk .
In addition our after sales support continues as normal should you have any need to contact us in the future.

Bought a bed from dreams. In store the Sales Advisor advised that a slatted base would be suitable and that there would be no need to ugrade to sprung slats which wouldve cost us £50 more.
Bed arrived on time, however when we put the bed together we noticed a crack in the foot end of the bedframe. We continued to assemble the bed to make sure everything was in place, but when we fitted the slats as there was not centre piece for extra support the bed did not feel very safe. Later we found that as the slats were so bendy there was a dip in the centre of the mattress when lying on the bed.
I called dreams customer service and explained what had happened and the advisor said they wuld send the sprung slats - free of charge, and replace the foot end with free assembly.
Im happy with that, just hoping all goes to plan as i see on here that they may be going into administration. Fingers Crossed.0 -

You've not been reading correctly, they have already gone into administration and a buyer has already been found. So they will continue to trade where they left off.Helping the country to sleep better....ZZZzzzzzzz0
