    Good morning

I recently purchased a bed and mattress from the online site of dreams. Everything went fine until the delivery date was pushed back not once, not twice but three times, when we complained we just got excuse after excuse. Dreams offered us money off and assured the mattress would come only to be delayed again. We are now trying to get our money back which is proving very difficult. The customer service even stated they would ring back after 5 and we said but you close at 5 and the customer service just laughed and hung up. Today we have tried to chase dreams again and they have hung up on us again.
  • I can only reiterate what others have said. I should have read these reviews / complaints before purchasing my bed and mattress from Dreams.
What a sour experience....cancelled delivery after cancelled delivery, unable to get through to customer services, excuses excuses from store.
The Dreams delivery driver summed up this company perfectly when he delivered my damaged mattress, and I quote " I know, they should be called Nightmares, not Dreams"

    I have a damaged mattress and a missing bed....the saga continues !

BE WARNED....I WOULD NOT ADVISE ANYONE TO BUY FROM DREAMS

For anyone that has any problems or issues with Dreams Beds, escalate and complain via email to the Dreams Beds CEO. I think;) that his first name is Nick.

Then wait 3 working days for a response.

To find the CEO's email address, do a google search with "ceoemail dreams", select the first entry displayed in the search list and then search for "dreams beds". With luck;) this should work.

    Good luck and HTHs.
  • My advice to any of you out there having seriously irritating problems with Dreams customer services or the suchlike, is as follows;

Call them out on twitter, on either @Dreams_Queries or @Dreams_beds, and generally have a 140 character rant on how rubbish they are.

I had been waiting for two weeks for a bed that my company had ordered on behalf of a client, they had promised us a delivery date but then turned around and told us the item was out of stock. !!!!!!??

Called them out on twitter and within half an hour I had received not one, but two calls from Dreams representatives offering to rectify the situation and to deliver the bed within 2 days. And even the promise of a phone call on friday to make sure everything has gone smoothly.

They clearly don't want their Dreamy name tarnished on social networks where the general public can see what they're actually like.
  • Hi everyone,

Heres my experience if anyone can help?
We ordered our bed on the 20th January 2012, on the 26th Jan I recieved a text saying our order was ready for delivery, we arranged a delivery date between 7am & 10am at 10am on the morning it was supposed to arrive I recieved a phone call saying it wasn't coming, this happened again on the next arraged date, having had 2 wasted days off work we went into the store to complain (after numerous phonecalls) it was arranged for the bed to be delived to the store so I did not need to book any more wasted off work. The delivery has been put back so many times, we keep phoning only to be told they will make enquiries and return my call which hardly ever happens. The last delivery date was the 11th June, again no bed, no phonecalls!! So I am pregnant and sleeping on a matress on the floor! Any ideas on who I can complain or write to, I'm waiting for a manager to call me back.

    Thanks in advance

We moved house and slept on the couch for two weeks due to dreams promises....never again..The wife and kids slept on mattresses on the floor
It is nice to see the value of your house going up'' Why ?
Unless you are planning to sell up and not live anywhere, I can;t see the advantage.
If you are planning to upsize the new house will cost more.
If you are planning to downsize your new house will cost more than it should
If you are trying to buy your first house its almost impossible.

I'd like to thank you for your advice. I've had an issue with dreams and was getting nowhere with my complaint, I took your advice and low and behold I had contact from them within 24 hrs and now my matter is resolved. :j

So...following on from my previous post. Had the matress 3 months, and it's starting to sag. You can grab handfuls of the top material it's gotten that bad. I've called Dreams and they are sending an inspector after we return from our honeymoon. Any idea's on what we can expect from the inspection? I have a feeling that they will say it's our fault :(

The problem ive had with dreams is completely different from yours but again waiting for a call back that never comes. I followed the advice from a previous post that recommended noting your complaint on twitter and tag them in it @Dreams_Beds and @Dreams_Queries. You can only write 140 characters so minimal but just express your disatissfaction. I had contact back within 24 hrs and fingers crossed my problem is now resolved.

    Good luck ;)
