Can anyone point me in the right direction of a naan bread recipe for the breadmaker? I'm sure I've seen one on here somewhere but I can't find it anywhere?

Hi,
Try adding a teaspoon full of kalonji (black onion seeds) to the mix - this makes a massive difference and they taste very authentic !
I found them in my local Sainsbo's @ 1.19 for a jar of Barts spices.
HTH,
Keith
I SO agree about kalonji - essential for an authentic naan! Did anyone else see the episode of The Apprentice where not a single apprentice (and many of them were Indian or Pakistani) knew what a kalonji seed was, or where to buy them? I sniggered throughout.....:pEx board guide. Signature now changed (if you know, you know).0 -
Thanks for this recipe. I made it at my friends house. Her grill was out of action so we blasted them in a hot oven instead and they were great.August Grocery Challenge £98.02/£100
