  • Hi all

Just wanted to share this with you all.

When i was waiting for my money to come through (all 14days aaahhh) i had a few small direct debits of between £11 and £20 come out and then their charges of £100 from previous month this made be overdrawn again on about five occasions, so as i ve said on previous posts was expecting to get charged around £150 this month.

    BUT

To my astonishment they havent!! only charged me £25.00

WHY i have no idea, every month i ve had charges from between £50 upto £150.00 due to their charges making me overdrawn, now when i have finally been paid out they are not charging me. Their really is no reasoning with their system.

morning Sam where you been! Hope you are ok

WEY HEY!!!!! Well done you!!! Funny that, I'm on day 11 too but no money for me yet

I was wondering how you were doing! So what are you gonna do with it then??

Lou, that's very interesting that you weren't charged as much - I wonder whether it's damage limitation.

Didn't I hear on the news last night that HSBC have paid out over 11m in refunded bank charges so far this year? Ouch that's gotta hurt!!!! :rotfl:

Anyone heard from Tillybella? I hope she's ok!!

Well done again Hailey:j at last the wait for you is over!!!!!

I waited 14 calendar days, not working days.

I would say that almost everyone that waited the 8 weeks received a satisfactory response within that time including myself.

However, in light of recent events, and knowing that all claims have been frozen pending a test case trial by OFT I'm not sure what would be best now.

Personally, I would probably stick to your timetable and see what happens.... but it could be a while longer than 8 weeks either way!
