Until yesterday...when I now login it says "no data available" when clicking "points", filter for "surveys" and click "show".

I have just tried another survey and this completed successfully but hasn't shown up as pending either.

Is anyone else experiencing this (it seems to be since the website was updated) and has anyone had any joy when contacting Toluna for help on this - I have emailed them through the contact us page.

    Thanks for any help

When you said you filter for surveys, do you make sure you click back in the little calendar for the right date? However, even if you didn't, it doesn't explain why your recently completed surveys are not showing as 'Pending'. Unless of course, you are merely just going back a tab in your browser to your account page, after having just completed a survey. Then of course, the page won't have updated. Try refreshing the page after going back to your account. After completing a survey, I always check to make sure it is showing pending in my account, before doing anything else. It's easier to find then - right at the top!

This happened to me too - 2400 points and same explanation from Toluna - more than likely the same survey (something to do with insurance if my memory serves me correctly)

Glad it wasn't only me then. However, it just goes to show, if everyone keeps a check on what Toluna is up to and make sure they query any discrepancies, it will keep them on their toes, because otherwise, they'll think they can get get away with more and more dodgy dealing! As it is, I think their conduct has slightly improved over the years; simply because we query them all the time and, of course, of forums like this!

  • I'm definitely not a fan of Toluna. I'm a member of a number of survey sites and Toluna is the only one that I have yet to get any rewards from.

80,000 points for a £15 Amazon voucher?! What a ridiculously high amount of points, which I am never going to get to because well over half of the surveys I complete morph into prize draw entries.

In the time it has taken me to make 27,000 points I have amassed over £50 of Amazon vouchers from my other survey sites. I think i'll stick with it until I reach the 80,000 and then not bother anymore.

Got this back from Toluna today so looks like a known issue for some members since the site update:-

We have responded to your case about "Pending surveys missing". The response is:
    "Hello,

Thank you very much for your feedback. We are now aware of the fact that the Surveys page is not fully functional at the moment and our technical team is already working on this with priority.

Thank you again for your understanding and your patience while we fix this issue.

Isn't it nice when you get back a 'Proper', polite answer to a query, instead of the usual 'Stock' e-mail referring you to their 'FAQs' or even worse, replying as if they haven't read your query properly; just skimmed it, assume it is about something else entirely and replying in that vein. So frustrating! All's well that ends well then. :T

To cut a long story short:

I did a campaign in August for GHD and Babyliss tongs. The GHD /Babyliss products where delivered to my house and I had to test both products out and do a bit work (hair styling and pictures) for each product over a two week period. I did everything that was asked of me took pictures downloaded them as requested and filled in the survey's that where sent. They collected the GHD tong on the 25th August by courier and the Babyliss one they didn't want back.

My question to anyone who did this also is when are we getting our £100 Amazon voucher which was the payment for the two weeks. The letter that accompanied the products said once the GHD tong was collected the Amazon voucher would be sent straight out.

I did contact Toluna about this just in case the voucher went astray but they just said the survey has not ended yet, which is not what is said in the letter.

I did this campaign too and keep logging in to check and it still says pending. Was going to contact them about it too.

This was the response I received from them on the 12/09/14.

    Dear xxxxxxxx

We have responded to your case about "Non payment of £100 Amazon gift card". The response is:

    Hello,

Thank you for your email. We have been informed by the team responsible for this study that the incentive will be sent to the qualified members once the study is completed and closed and we receive the results of the data analysis. Unfortunately we cannot provide an exact date for the moment.

Thank you for your understanding and your participation in this project.

I was not of the understanding from the initial letter received that once they received the GHD's back that is when the Amazon voucher would be sent out.

Not sure if you where under the same conclusion????????

Yes I thought the same, after we had sent the item back and completed the follow up surveys, I assumed I would receive the incentive.
I do know that there was at least one other batch of people doing the trial the week after I did mine so perhaps this is still on going? Bit weird they say they cannot provide an exact date at the moment. Why can't they reward the people that have completed it.

Exactly, I am going to give them until next week and then send the letter back to them scanned into an e-mail highlighting the portion that says " once the product has been returned, the Amazon £100 will be sent straight out".

Maybe if you send an e-mail to them also on this maybe they will realise that they have got it wrong on this occasion.

And if I don't get anywhere then I will be posting a complaint on Facebook. Any negative feedback usually is sorted straight away if you post on facebook or tweet on Twitter.
