Did anyone else receive a survey about testing a new vacuum cleaner? I've just completed one and I think it said it will be delivered tomorrow and then I have to keep a diary every time I use it, but I was so excited about possibly being selected that I rushed through the survey and din't really pay attention to any of the details. Think they said it's valued at £250 so I'll be chuffed if it turns up!

Good luck on being picked then because if you rushed it they will know.

  • I didn't rush the survey itself, I just wanted to move on and complete it so didn't pay as much attention to the information on the first page as I perhaps should have. I guess I expected there would be some sort of confirmation at the end, but there wasn't. Nothing was delivered yesterday either.

Really I was just curious about whether anyone else had completed this survey so I know I didn't imagine the whole thing!

Is anybody else having issues with the sponsored polls? I've done lots over the past few days and have just realised that I haven't been credited with any points at all for them.
Time may be a great healer, but it's a lousy beautician.... :/

Has anyone else been questioning the way Toluna handles its rewards?
If not, I think more of us should.

Why is there ALWAYS a six week delay in paying out Amazon vouchers?
Their glib reply, "we send them out in batches".
They also claimed that this was done every 6 weeks.
BUT, I have said to them, in that case the average time would be 3 weeks - mine ALWAYS take at least 6 weeks. This is statistically impossible. So someone at Toluna is not telling us the truth.

On 17OCT I earned £15. It was not paid out until yesterday - over 8 weeks. But suppose that's when a batch was sent. Trouble is, I had earned another £15 on 18DEC - two days before the batch was sent! Why was this not included in the batch? I'm still waiting for this one.

I have had no reply yet.

I have also asked them to explain, if they send batches every 6 weeks, why does the rewards page only show us our rewards for the last month? Are they trying to make us forget about them?

I think the way they handle the rewards is unethical.

If Valued Opinions, and other sites, can pay them within minutes, Toluna must have a hidden agenda here that they do not want to own up to.

More of us should be questioning them.

I agree with everything you say.

However, the dates at the Rewards page can be altered to the dates you want to show.

At top right-hand side, select 'welcome username' choose Rewards, and select date range.

    Good luck
  • Be carfeul with claiming toluna rewards. I let mine build up to get £30 of debenhams vouchers. Unfortunately they never arrived. I contacted toluna several times. I asked if the vouchers were tracked, they said no. I asked if they kept a record of card numbers so we could block them with debenhams, they said no. All they said was for me to check with my local post office !! they didnt even apologise that they had got lost (if they were ever sent)

Toluna has always been very casual over awarding points and sending out vouchers. I have never received my vouchers in less than three months. (I generally apply for Love To Shop Vouchers so that I can spend them in quite a lot of different places.)
I can only repeat that it pays to keep screenshots of every survey completed; always check that the completed survey is showing as pending in your Toluna account and also take a screenshot when you apply for your voucher - whatever it is!
I know that this makes for even more work for what are on the whole, meagre rewards for the length of the surveys involved, but I have found that it pays, because I have often had to send Toluna my screenshots to prove I have completed surveys and they can't argue with them. They have even uploaded points manually when faced with evidence like this.
  • I have not received my paypal payment ordered on 28 of November. Anyone with such issues?
  • Is it still showing in your Rewards? (On the drop-down menu under your User Name, select 'Points & Rewards'.) When there, set the date on the calendar back to about the middle of November and make sure 'Rewards' are selected in the heading and click 'Show'. You should still see your Paypal reward pending. It hasn't been two months yet, so I reckon this is about normal for Toluna. As long as your requested reward is still showing in your rewards account, you're OK. (Oh, and if your reward is in 'Your Rewards' take a screenshot of it and keep it safe!)
  • I have not request for the reward yet although I have done many surveys. I thought Toluna will pay automatically after we hit certain preset amount?
