I occassionally get the urge to go back to Toluna, but I doubt it's worth it.

Hey there I've got a question about Toluna.
I first discovered it a while back and was really excited about the site, it seemed like such a good idea. After entering every survey I got emailed for a good couple of months I started deleting the emails whenever I got them as I never once managed to complete a survey, I was always told I didn't fit the requirements.
When I saw this thread a few days ago I thought I'd give it another try but started to get exactly the same problems, I haven't been able to complete one survey.
I'm wondering if anyone else has found this? I'm 19 and female, live in London and work in an office, do you think these stats work against me particularly? It's very frustrating and I'd love a chance at earning some points.
Well, you're not alone. When you're over 65 it's exactly the same! It's as if when you're getting old, you stop doing, buying, feeling, acting, etc. etc. - you name it - in fact you become invisible and they don't want to know! It seems to me, the folks who manage to get through most of the surveys are aged from about 25 to 45-50. 55 at the oldest. Otherwise, unless it's a survey specifically aimed at a certain age group, as soon as you say how old you are, you get screened out! Still, at least us oldies get screened out early on - before 'They' have had a chance to get most of your opinions for free before screening you out! Should be grateful really I suppose.......

Warning to the female members there seems to be a few perverts that only comment on womens profiles. I noticed Toluna has a recent active members list I click them to see where these peeps come from. I noticed only the woman with pictures got comments from the same people who never said welcome to the guys .Survey earnings total 2009 £417, 2010 £875, 2011 £5740

I've emailed them about it and they're not replying. I know it's not overly important but it's hard enough to earn vouchers without being denied access to the poll questions... anyone else getting this?
Yes I'm getting this too, its really annoying.Young moneysaver in the making

Try clicking the 'Back' button once. Sometimes you can get back to the last page you were on, but with a couple of the new surveys on the end. Keep doing that until you reach the page where they say there are no new surveys. I used to do that before I finally stopped doing anything else for Toluna!
(Got my Love2Shop voucher today (ordered three months ago!) Just one more voucher to go, then, when I get the points I'm owed, When! - I'll have enough for one more. When I eventually get that - I'm off! :T

Oh my god.... just received the worst ever points-to-time ratio survey. Forty minutes... for a whole 200 points! That must be a typo, surely?0

you mean this one:-
Survey ID: SO-23931
Number of points: 200 pointsSurvey closing date: 11.12.2009 (or as soon as we have the number of respondents that we are looking for)
Length of the survey: 10 minutes
was thinking that it is a typo myself but only a 10 minute survey

Daisy Bell - are the love2shop vouchers paper ones? I usually order amazon ones so that they can be tracked as they're so rubbish at paying out, but fancy ordering these in future.0 -

I have got a response about surveys not being credited. They said after 4 weeks from the end date forward them the original email. No help for me as all of mine are from opinion poll surveys or i've deleted the email. At the moment I'm just doing opinion polls too boost my points. They also never responded to the part about only being able to do the first page of opinions before an error comes up and, having the same ones all the time. Going down rapidly in my books.Hoping the comping fairy is nice this month and the postman comes.
:A:jThanks to all posters :j:A0
