I've just reached my threshold and sent off for my first £12 Love2Shop voucher. Taken me just over two months I guess. Given what I've read here though, I shan't be hanging onfor the postie to deliver it anytime soon.

Good luck to those having problems, I hope they sort it soon!

EDITED: Although postie has just bought me my Lightspeed reward so not all of the companies are slow I guess!

Anyone else experienced a sudden reduction to receiving survey invitations? Virtually none in the last week, I think - only one, I think, and that kicked me off before completion.

I had almost reached the magic claim point when they stopped arriving - and if they credited the outstanding points where I had actually completed surveys I would already be able to claim.

Err - nope! I've had 7 in the last 2 days! Screened out of 3, completed 3 and one was just an update sort of thing.

I've had about four survey invitations in the last week but only qualified for one.

I wasn't having a pop at you, sorry if it sounded like it! Just grumbling at them as usual.

I realised you weren't after I'd re-read it. I wasn't having a great day yesterday so sorry for taking it the wrong way!

I have been with Toluna since 2006 then it was called Test and Vote and got fair few vouchers and points. I do agree with the forummers here that points are gone down and the customer support can be hit and miss. What I normally is complete the surveys with large amounts of points attached (ie 8000 - 15,000). Also do not ignore the smaller surveys as some surveys invite you to focus groups/online forums etc where you get amazon vouchers, cash and large amounts of points. These surveys tend to tell you what will happen in the later date (ie a focus group or more surveys will follow). I know Toluna has become a pain lately as they have expanded internationally but I am still going with them as I have had some rich pickings at times.
If i had known then what I know now! :)

Best to visit the site and do the short surveys (quick votes) as they are often used to check your eligibility for future surveys.

    Thanks - I didn't realise that!

  • I've had loads of love off Toluna this week after being tempted to jack them in once I'd claimed my last voucher (used to take ages to get to the magic 60000). Sadly, not the voucher I'm due through the post though!

I've had 15000 points out of them this week with a few more pending plus some presumably expensive pens to trial.

I always log in a few times a day to do the quickvotes. These are 15 points each but sometimes, there are votes worth 120/150 points and these can lead to survey invites too. Doing these definitely helps boost my points totals.

I do think a lot of companies are cutting back on market research... I'm a member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing and while they are trying to encourage otherwise, most companies are cutting budgets. I'm a member of Valued Opinions, Lightspeed and Globaltestmarket too... and they've definitely gone quiet on me.
