Another question re polls I create - do I receive points for them if a certain number of people vote ? Is it the number of votes per poll or total number of votes for various polls that count ?
    Thanks.
    Toluna tutorial says
    "Popularity of polls created:
Members are awarded points for votes on polls they created; the more votes your polls get, the more points you earn."
which I read as each individual poll.

I am a member of quite a few online survey sites and I have been entered into dozens of prize draws - I just wondered if any of you have actually won anything in these draws??

I also redeemed an amazon voucher through Toluna on 13th February - I assume I am in for a long wait in receiving it?

I too have got the 4 x 4 points and don't know where they came from. It is frustrating that after been a member for a couple of years or so I am now 15 points off 60000 and voucher, but cannot get the 15 points from polls or owt cos there's none available.

Have you tried changing your language? In the globe icon in the top right hand corner? ;)

Yes, probably sorry! I ordered an HMV voucher around a similar time to you, on average I'd say it takes them a couple of months to get them sent, but more often than not it takes longer!

They still owe me £20 for an online chat they hosted with Nqual about smoothies back in October last year. I'm still chasing up on but I'm just getting nowhere, just passed around and being asked the same questions each time.
If I have been of any assistance, or my information is useful, please press the "Thanks" button :)

The best way to do, I believe, is to contact them directly stating all needed information. They often ask for the invitation email you were sent for it, but if you only know the ID, then it's enough. It might take a while chasing it, but keep a good faith!
Try again and I'm sure that someone will reply to you. Myself I had many problems with uncredited points before and they were all sorted out within a week! I was happy then!

As far as I know, this prize draw is done automatically once a month by their system. As there are thousand of participants, it is normal that you might not win anything for a while. A friend of mine won those, not much, but still he was a lucky one!

Also, vouchers can take upto 8 weeks; that's what their FAQ says therefore you might need to wait till mid April for your reward. If after 8 weeks, you hear nothing about your Amazon code, do contact them and they should help you almost instatly.

I was just going to post about not receiving points for surveys completed last week then read some of you have been waiting months so I guess I have a long wait ?

I have noticed the past few days there have been hardly any sponsored polls and also under my points, there are polls (relating to 4x4 cars) that I haven't done but I have been given points for ?

Has anyone else noticed this ?

I only joined 2 weeks ago and have nearly 14000 points but the polls seem to have gradually decreased over the last week ?

Another question re polls I create - do I receive points for them if a certain number of people vote ? Is it the number of votes per poll or total number of votes for various polls that count ?

They are having some technical problems on the site - you order a voucher and it tells you that you ordered a prize draw lottery ticket - in your points and in their data base you will see your voucher order though; also they seem to title 4x4 many sponsored polls - once again a technical problem...
I have contacted them before and they said that they are working on solving them and that the system is actually crediting those points correctly so I don't worry.

You know that the amount of polls you see on the web depends on the amount of projects Toluna is going to sent out? Those so called sponsored polls tells them if you are suitable for a certain survey and if they should send you an invitation to your email.
I believe that if you are active on the site, you will manage to gain even upto a bit more than 70k points a month if only you wish! There is something called content bonus written on their blog - they are giving you extra points if you create interesting polls or post valuable content opinion, helpful for others...

I had that! one page said, "thankyou for your participation" etc etc, "please click this link to go back to toluna"
I clicked on the link and get...."sorry this survey is full" or words to that effect from toluna. I pressed to go back and was told by the page "you have already completed this survey". I am 20000 away from ending links with toluna. I get the feeling I wont get paid for any surveys I do for them.

Screening is something normal and depends on the target group which clients demands... Imagine, you are 60 years olf person who is retired and client is looking for active bank managers aged 20-50 years old. Of course you will be screened out because of the age, but that's not against people of age of 60, but the requirements!

Often when I contact Toluna cause survey after clicking on the link says 'it is not started' or similar - that means that most probably it is a short survey and was out for a very short while and has been closed just before or at the time i tried to participate. Annoying, huh?
Well, I get tens of invitations every week so I'm not that bothered myself. I manage to collect quite some points by being active and into the community :D:D

I just noticed one thing, that if survey is in a wrong language; you were screened out half way or further in the survey or you got a wrong message at the end (like error or sorry) you should contact their support to ensure what happened - in most cases I'm being credited with my points :)
