I got the this same micro from Aldi last year and it's great. I rarely use my cooker oven now.
I've not worked out how to use it in combo mode nor if the convection oven can go above 200 but I use it for heating any normal oven stuff that fits in it and needs 200 or less and it's brill.
One big advantage is that you use the timer so the oven switches off at the end and things don't get burnt as I used to forget about them in my gas oven LOL.0 -

Also, I have a quick question for anyone who has this particular model. How do I get the convection oven to go above 200 degrees? The presets only allow it to go to 200 degrees.
If it's not sparking, you're ok. It's chrome plated, by the way (the rack). Normally, metal will cause sparks to fly....this rack doesn't do that. I cooked a pizza on combination using the rack, and nothing bad happened (just a nicely cooked pizza). In a rut? Can't get out? Don't know why?
It's time to make that change.

This is my first 3-in-1 microwave. Need some advice here. Was planning to cook/heat up a ready made pizza straight from the freezer. On the packaging it says put it in a gas oven and heat at certain temperature for a certain time. This time i was planning to use the microwave. Could those who are experienced answer the following :-
1. can you cook/heat up a pizza from frozen state using the oven feature?
2. If yes then i assume you place the pizza on top of the metal grill to allow heat to circulate all over it?
3. Would the metal grill be placed on top of the glass turntable or do i remove the turntable?
Thanks for any advice given.Problem with having access to internet is that i get asked by many to solve their problemsWell at least i learn something on the way

HI Wazza,
I'm just guessing here, but I would use the oven feature only not the microwave, sit it on the metal grill.
Good Luck!

I sat mine on the metal rack, with the turntable left in. I used the combination oven using the Pizza button to cook the pizza...it used both microwave and oven to cook it. I had to do it twice, as I think the Pizza button is for chilled pizza, not frozen...doing it twice cooked the pizza properly. In a rut? Can't get out? Don't know why?

I did a pizza from frozen the other day, used the "pre-heat" on convection to get the temp up to 200c (hit convection, then 0 (zero) then start..it beeps when hot enough ) then open the door without doing anything and place the pizza on the metal rack , resting on the glass turntable, and enter the number of minutes it says to cook as per a normal oven (if it says 10-12 then put 12 mins) then start again and off it goes....mine came out a treatEx forum ambassador

My only grumble with this combi microwave is that the instruction booklet has no recipe ideas at all and gives no instructions as how to cook individual items of food.
Do you think the same model that is sold in M&S has better instructions? If so, how could we get our hands on it's instruction booklet?

I agree with davetaylor, but the item is fantastic! Picked mine up today and cooked pizza in it perfectly tonight.
I have bought the combi oven book from Amazon, I think it was about £5."A cat can have kittens in the oven, but that don't make them biscuits." - Mary Cooper
"Have nothing in your house that you do not know to be useful or believe to be beautiful" - William Morris

Hi Pollyskettle, how do you feel about using the metal stand during the microwave function. It's not really clear in the manuel.
I would appreciate any ideas or tips you have. I'm going to check out that book you mentioned.
How did you cook your pizza?0
