Download the manual from here: User manual MW9001
If you don't fancy buying it for £65 from Aldi with a 3 year guarantee, you could always pay £120 for the same machine (but not badged Delta) from M&S with only a 2 year guarantee!

Incidentally, the manual for this particular microwave was put on the website back in October, even though it didn't go on sale at Aldi until today. If you have a look, you'll see 6 products were added on the 10th January...these items will be going on sale in Aldi in the next few months, including a 42 inch LCD DVB TV (Tevion badged), some sort of sewing machine, a tower fan, an air purifier, kitchen clock radio and a dvd recorder. In a rut? Can't get out? Don't know why?
It's time to make that change.

Well, that's the Hamburg based importer and distributor. The maker is some factory in China.
Excellent stuff, Browntoa and MUNT. :T:T:T
Looks like the big secret of the source of Aldi's "special buys" isn't that big a secret any more. MPC Group supplies a good deal of Aldi's textiles and electronics, including the Tevion range.

We used to have a Panasonic Dimension 4 microwave (in fact we have had 2 in the past) which did most of the things this does by the sound of it. Thing was, it was about £300+ so I may get one of these at this price.0

Just had a look at the online manual.
Not exactly for the healthy eating brigade is it, just looked at the auto buttons.
Popcorn, Cake, Pizza!
I think the auto buttons on the Panasonic that I had were things like, chicken, beef, cake etc.0 -

I mean, how should I now cook a Jacket potato? I'm guessing blast it in the microwave for a few minutes, and then taking it out, cutting it open and then adding fillings and then adding it back but this time under the grill?

Hi Dave
We currently have a combi oven (NOT this one) and the metal stands have rubber feet at the point of contact so they are insulated (not a physics person so don't know or understand how it works!!) so that you can use the metal in the microwave-our oven has a setting for jacket potatoes so we just need to plug in how many and the oven works out the combination of micro and conventional heating required. It provides a nice soft potato but with the crunchy skin that is scrummy (and yes I DO wash the skins properly it's not grit :rotfl: !!) When one of the rubber feet came off and I used the microwave without realising there were fireworks!! (ok slight exaggeration  minor arcing and sparking!!)0 -

Guys and girls, you may want to consider this LG Combi Microwave, model number: MH6347E that I picked up in Tesco Slough yesterday for £50 - labled as being reduced from £100. It appears on the Tesco Direct website but shows as being "out of stock"

What do you look for when buying a microwave?
The specs on the Aldi one seem much better or am I missing something?
Aldi 900W Microwave 800W LG
1200W Grill 1000W LG
1400W Convection Oven
