QT~I meant is there not a map thingy on WW site
I think you put in either postcode or town, then comes up with classes in your area. Then i thought you could look on a link to see where class was.Could be wrong though.
OOh i see..yea I know where the nearest one is, just can't figure out how to get there, no bus goes round that area so i will have to figure it out!0 -
hmmm, interesting thoughts from pet. It's funny how people's perceptions can vary . . . i have a friend in london who said that she sometimes feel really inadequate and scruffy next to me because I always seem so calm and in control and know where i am and what I'm doing. OH finds this enormously funny as I am so anxious about everything and usually look like my hair needs brushing at the very least. My friend just must not see it . . . .
last post before packing for Spain. not sure I have enough pants. still i'm sure i'll survive! have a good week all and i'll see you porbably next sunday. I don't know if i dare to try and catch up on a weeks posts.0 -
Well hi there, what a gorgeous bunch of loveliness
I have been wibbling away merrily on a totally other thread about weightloss and stuff n things, and here y'all are! Phew it's a big place this MSE and I guess I just got a bit lost
Has anyone signed up to the diet trial at www.dietfreedom.co.uk ? They are offering 50% off normal membership price if you join in, and they have NHS dieticians who want to get the service used in NHS which is why the trial.
My sis who has high blood pressure and needs to shift some of the love handles after having had a really   year with stress etc has just signed up. Hub and me have been with Diet Freedom for a while and lost 3.8 stone (combined) :T before the whole Festive season came to call, and we’re getting back into it again now with this diet trial.
You pay around £15 for 3 months which is less than I was payin previous so it’s a good way to get in at this price and you only have to weigh yourself at home each week and then send in your weight loss after 3 months for trial. It’s made us real determined to get the next lot off! (we had got pretty chunky!)
There are a few (dare I say it?!) ex WW leaders in the forums who swear it’s the best diet ever and we TOTALLY agree! Healthy, very natural and easy to follow its based on a low GL diet (similar to GI but easier).
Also you gotta give the EFT thing a go, for those of you who have not fallen over my posts wafflin about this yet it’s emotional freedom technique and is most excellent for nixing cravings and bad food behaviour. Hub and I have really benefited from it (Diet Freedom have a guy and a lovely lady called Carey who do the EFT, I have been working with Carey and Hub with Iain the guy, really great!)
Anyway, as always I’ve gone on and on, hope y’all find it handy and get really inspired - tho by the looks of things I'm getting inspired by you! Off to sort out my car insurance now - what a snore!
x Claire
PS you need to enter the code DIET50 when you sign up to get the half price for 3 months - guess that's a pretty important bit of info!£3k back from Natwest:beer:, approx 29% saved on major debts due to Martin's tarting advice and LOTS more (inc weight loss too! ... for one of themgrannynise wrote: »BB, next time you see her take a notebook (or even better a clipboard) and make notes of what she says. Ask her to spell anything technical, even if you know perfeclty well how to spell it. For some reason I find this results in a change of attitude in the less emotionally intelligent members of the caring professions. Or she may have just been having a bad day - no excuse but maybe she'll be more appropriate next time.
Thanks for this granny, much appreciated, and to everyone's kind words and suggestions: it was great just to be able to tell you I'd had a bad day and know I'd get kind support:T . It did help. It was going to be a tough day anyway, having to face the reality that I now have arthritis, on top of 2 other dibilitating conditions and all down to a vicious rare side effect of the drug I was injecting for one of them. I could have done with out her icing the cake and nearly drowning me. (mixed metafors but YKWIM:D )Claire 1847: this sounds an excellent program and I think may have been one I was nearly involved in the initial university trial a couple of years ago. Sounds worth exploring.
KPC have a fab hols. And welcome home Efrieze - a small gain or sts would have been very good, but to possibly and LOST is amazing:T .And most importantly, you had a good time.
...Your most graciousPurpleness... Ah pet, you're just about getting the right amount of deference in now. You may draw near to the throne:D . Yes thank you I do feel a lot brighter today: sun shining and plans to see how I can help myself before seeing the [strike]gorgon[/strike] delightful rhematologist again in 6 weeks.
I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once0 -
