Just texted my brother to tell him about my loss this week, trying to keep him on his toes re: our challenge :D he's sent off for his provisional licence, but says he has no money for lessons yet (dispite just booking a holiday to Gran Canaria ) Looks like I'm in the lead so far!

    Hi guys
Great losses this week, special well done to LL after last week's disappointment.

I've decided to take a break for a while - I'll still be popping in to say Hi etc, just need to refocus for a little. Don't worry, I'm not disappearing!
Good luck to everyone still to WI; Grannynise, there'll be no WI from me this week. Thankyou for doing the chart.
    Take care all xx

  • Welcome back bindiboo:j : I'm sure you'll soon get on top of that 10lbs, given your sucess last year.
Bails: it's a wise woman who knows when and what to reprioritise xx
WI today peeps and granny: I've put 2lbs on but am quite happy with this as I know I put this on the day after last week's WI(after a sustained fat and sugar fest weekend) and have maintained for the last 6 days since going back on SW plan so am very encouraged by this.
I reckon suggs was wearing a new top without an x in it. I don't think he was wearing women's knickers kpc, because he said he was wearing something new for the 1st time ever, and I don't believe it would have been the first time for that, in the slightest...:rotfl:
I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once

Reporting a 4 lb weight gain this week. That is more than I put on Christmas week and I had really pushed out the boat then! I honestly, hand on heart do not understand how I could have put on this week. After last week I made sure I stuck to the plan and within my syn allowance. I am very depressed now and just feel like a total failure. Why oh why does this have to be so hard?

Marion, could there be another reason for the gain? I know it is so disheartening but try to keep faith; it will come. If you haven't already, then perhaps keep a food diary of everything this week (and activity) and see if this throws up any clues. Big hug to you:grouphug:

Thanks BB, and well done on maintaining this week xx
Just wanted to share my good news peeps - I have my first hour of supply tomorrow!! It'll be my first time in front of a large class for more than 4 years so I'm nervous and excited all at the same time. Nerves are fine at mo but will kick in tomorrow; will be good to get the first one out of the way. And £20 too, my first wage in ages :T Will let you know how it goes.
