awwwww, delly, you and your ginger pig dog look very happy. I'm soooo pleased for you and i really really hope you can work it out between you all - I'd give ANYTHING to have a dog, I really would. People think I'm weird because I'm not interested in babies but I really pine for a dog.
Thank you for all you get well wishes. Really peeved today as was hoping the symptoms would have gone - but they haven't. Which means that the lecture from THE authority on medieval dressmaking that I have spend the past three months organising is totally out of the question - unless of course I want to poison her and all my friends. So v bummed. And we are fast runing out of basics like milk and stuff. Still OH is out of quarantine tonight so I'll be sending him up to the co-op.
Bails, glad to hear you've made adecision about your location. I hope you enjoy your decorating - it's one of my favourite hobbies. Whilst being poorly I have discovered a new dirty fetish - anyone watch primeval on itv1? The cute hunter type? hello!!! ( obviously i am further along the road to recovery than i thought)0 -
Suggs congrats on the 4lb loss, I know you don't want celebrations but can't let that one pass by - at the very least you can use it as a buffer a bit like I've been doing this week! Lost 12 stone overall... it's an incredible achievement.
As for the ebay stuff, no not the good old classic games, though we had all those and more until recently when we freecycled a lot of them! These are Gameboy, Gamecube etc. Haha, no way am I posting my ebay name on here, as I'm also flogging some stuff that's been "left behind" shall we say... well, if the person concerned hasn't been to collect it in over 3 years I think I'm quite justified
Have you got a game tomorrow Suggs?
Yes I hope to be playing a local derby tomorrow, against their 1st team, they are from a small town so only run one team. I been and bought some tape to strap my finger. What Gamecube games have you got? anything good?
Good to see your hoping for a small gain next week, I will love a maintain, so will try to drop the CV a little more next week.Proud Member of the Lose Weight Thread on I Wanna..................

bails glad to hear you have come to a decision, we have to move this year or maybe not as it all hinges on the interview on March the 5th, that is all people talk about in this house and the indecision can drive you insane:rotfl: :rotfl:0 -
Interesting article in The Times today.
Really brings it home how just a small amount over your daily calorie needs will lead to significant weight gains over a few years:

Hi folks, sorry not been on here this week, still not feeling good but off to the doc this afternoon. I maintained my weight again this, so don't need to change the chart for me. Thank you granny for doing the chart, it's really appreciated. I haven't read the recent posts yet, but well done all you who have lost or maintained and welcome to the newbies.business mortgage £0))''(+ Barclay's business kitchen loan £0=Total paid off was £96105 PPI claimed and received £13527

Even even more confusing, I eat more, I reduce the CV work in the gym and some weight training and promptly lose 4lb
please as per BrightonBelles suggestion no celebration is allowed, I have failed to maintian once again and deserve a damm good kickin.
But I will celebrate losing 168lb or more commonly known as 12stone :j even if I didnt mean to get there.
Well done Suggs  don't knock it! I'm sure that the worthy members of the growing ( :j ) group of maintainers will help you should you need it (which I doubt!). What has your son(s) said about your weight loss? It must be more apparent to him considering that he doesn't see you day-to-day. I do hope that he is proud of you!...
...Thanks for the lovely pics delly, I know it's easy for me to say but I'm glad that you've decided to keep her, she's adorable. Are all coal buckets as posh as yours in Norn Iron? That one's good enough for me to do my shopping in :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:(v nice to see a clearer photo of you too :T ) ...
...raph Thanks for your doggie photo too. One of my cairns, many years ago, had an unusual quiet phase (we just thought that she had matured:o ) only to find that she had been sneaking off and eating, bit by bit, the top layer of our wedding cake that we had kept for some unknown reason :rotfl: ...
...as for the coming weekend, if it's like the rest of the month so far, then....I wish that I could be the oldest AND wisest....sadly it's not the latterbut my time will come _party_ wooooh hoooh! Beware!!!!!!!

Well done Suggs!! You have lost the weight of the whole of me carrying something weighing 1 stone something. haha. Maths again! And english by the reading of it, but hey, were on a forum right!
Oh and my boyfriend prepared it by bashing a fork into the plastic, and cooking it for 20 minutes. He also went in and bought it because i was too lazy/cold to get out of the car!
Im going to Dancing tonight!! Im looking forward to it even if my boyfriend isnt going. Im replacing him with a gay man (who hasnt come out yet) who is over a foot taller than i am. heh. What a pair. A fatty with a tall not come out yet man! Good times.
Lovely Dog pics btw! Gorgeous doggies. Have you been to www.dogster.com? or something like that. My dog is on there, i'll try and find his page. http://apps.facebook.com/dogbook/profile.php?id=324817&user_ref=635440467 might be able to see him via that!
Anyway, off to do some living room dancing! ciao0 -
murphy v cute vix! Have fun dancing. ROFLing at the Cairn terrier eating the cake - or perhaps just the icing. The Poppydog ( my avatar) found her way into the box of fatballs my dad keeps for the birds. It would appear that she likes the fat but not the seeds so she sucked the fat out of them and spat the seeds out all over the floor. Dad not impressed, he's having enough trouble keeping the most enormous squirrel from stealing all the bird food anyway.
just watched kingdom of heaven. what a waste of 3 hours. starting to go stir crazy now. OH is going to go and do some food shopping when he is out of quarantine tonight - sat down to do next weeks meals and couldn't get interested at all. Spaghetti hoops every night is how it's looking so far.0 -
Thank you for the article BB"For most ordinary adults, sticking to a 1,800 to 2,500 daily range means they will lose weight"Always knew I wasn't ordinary
I wouldn't even maintain on those numbers - I'm heading for a gain on only 1350
