Morning everyone, hope you're all well today!
QT2006, congrats on the 2lb loss! About your two dinners next weekend, it would be a pity to go along and not enjoy them to the full in my opinion. You could crack down on food during the week, maybe do a good workout on Saturday afternoon? That should be more than enough to compensate for two meals? 2lb is a great loss this week so even if you stay the same next time because of the meals, that's still a 1lb loss each week overall which is great!
As for the tablets, it sounds to me like you are doing just fine without them! (I know that's not what you asked)
I'm out to a family lunch today, I have taken my own advice and tried to give myself a 'calorie deficit' in advance. Really, really hoping to STS at weigh in tomorrow.0 -
Well done QT - that's fantastic!
I'm going to weigh on Tues morning, but not expecting much of a loss. Have been doing the exercise but not sticking to diet all that well. I will just have to see. So have just made huge batch of veg soup in anticipation for next week.
By the way QT - I'm always in Debenhams Uxbridge shopping - small world!

Hi everyone,
i still feel knackered from the bra post! I hope it made sense to everyone, i was writing it late friday evening!
Ive totally forgotten who said about the DD+ bras being ugly, but i do understand what you mean! Some of them are really rank. Have you tried Freya? they jazz them up a bit, but they can sometimes go too far. The trouble is, when you get up to DD+ having a bra that is moulded doesnt really work. For t shirt bras try the debenhams own make ones. They have lace trims but are smooth and seamless on the cup. Doesnt work if you have sagged though cos of the double layering in the cup.
Pet: I would defo try the 32c/d. It may feel too tight (it may not) but if it does keep going with it because it will get bigger once youve worn/washed it!
Beanielou: I shall pm you later today!
Went out last night and wore this tight jumper with some trousers, felt slightly thin. Must be a sign my wednesday workout is working!
Hope you have a nice day, its lovely and sunny here0 -
vixarooni, Thankyou so much for all the advice on bra fitting. I have printed up your info so I can make sure I get the right size and shape bra. I get fitted regularly in a small privately owned shop. I still haven't got a single bra that is comfortable to wear. I have a drawer full of pretty bras that don't fit!! I am optimistically waiting until I am the right size again.
I love the fantasie range and almost all my bras are from them. Only three years ago I was wearing 32 DD, now I am 36F!!business mortgage £0))''(+ Barclay's business kitchen loan £0=Total paid off was £96105 PPI claimed and received £13527

Re: The adios tablets..I just thought i'd ask as they had it in the boots health club magazine thing...
missyg, enjoy your family lunch- and I think what I will do is do a jog both saturday and sunday mornings, then try to stick to good things for main courses then maybe i will share a desert with my friend..! And enjoy your family lunch
Suzy-Qu, cheers for the kind words, well the fact that you are doing exercise is good, i dont do much exercise now...i am going to start swimming though soon, so don't worry i am sure it wont be bad, just don't allow yourself to get hungry and fill yourself with healthy stuff- i know easier said than done...uxbridge debenhams is looking a lot better now since the re-mod, i would offer you discount, but I haven't managed to get my staff card now!
Have a good sunday everyone I am off for lunch now!!

I am thinking of doing Lighter Life or w8....as I am just desperate to lose weight and desperaely unhappy with myself and how I look.
I have an underactive thryroid which makes dieting harder...but I know it doesnt make dieting impossible. Due to things going on in my personal life I am just not managing to stick to diets....but I think I could stick to something where I just eat from pack provided and drink.
But..it's the cost...has anyone positive experiences??:rolleyes:Good Luck All
:grouphug:..thanks to all Posters:grouphug:0 -
Rharni, I'm afraid I personally don't have anything positive to say about them...however, there are other people on here with underactive thyroids so you would get some great support by sticking around here. We have all been where you are now with regards to how you feel and we are a very lovely and supportive bunch. Tell us a bit more about yourself if you can (you don't need to tell us your weight if you don't want to) and we can help you on the path to a healthier and happier weight. The 1,000 Day Challenge:Feb 16, 2016500/30,000

Vic, sorry run out of time right now, but just quickly, are there free foods on WW you could fill up on? Not being hungry would make life so much easier for you I believe. I'll post more when I can xThe 1,000 Day Challenge:Feb 16, 2016500/30,000
