I thought he said "she/he who opens eyes and stoops will find" they walk into a lot of posts, walls etc. :D
  • I spotted a coin sitting in the mud today but decided to leave it be!

Also, last night I was queueing for the checkout in the local tesco's and there was this woman shopping in a dressing gown (I wondered about that) with a couple of small kids in tow, and one of them dropped a handful of copper coins on the floor and wandered off, not caring. I wasn't prepared to pick them up, although I'm sure someone did eventually.

Why do people do that? Where I used to live, there was a woman who'd often go to the local shops in her dressing-gown & slippers. She'd usually come back with milk, bread, a paper & ciggies, so she wasn't going out for something she needed in an emergency - couldn't she take 2 minutes to get dressed? :)

    I was in London Friday / Saturday and came back 18p richer (10p, 5p, 1p, 1p, 1p).
Maybe the streets are not exactly paved with gold but I was pleased anyway :D .

Up to 44p so far this month - must admit I did wonder about a metal detector :o . My friend always carries a torch at night - she says it is for safety as she has steep steps - but it gave me ideas!
I can cook and sew, make flowers grow.

Some-on handed in just under £1000 cash to the police station last week. How honest. If no-one claims it in one month, the finder gets it back. Told her not to tell a soul where she found it, in case someone dishonest tried to claim it. Poor love said she was really skint too.
