My sister is a teacher.
She tends to be one of the last to leave in the evening.
As she walks across the playground she picks up money.
We are not talking about a posh area, quite the opposite.
In her car she has big pot and is never short of a coin for a meter.
What is it about teenagers that makes them so stupid?
[There used to be a guy who picketed the offices of the Daily Mirror. Maxwell in a rash moment had said that the paper would no longer publish tobacco adverts; until the accountants pointed out he would bankrupt the business.
So the picket had a bicycle made for 20 to carry a long low poster about lung cancer & two faced publishers.
When interviewed about how he was surviving all summer, kipping with his bike near by; he said the replacement of paper money with pound coins was brilliant as they did not "tinkle" when dropped so in the evenings he went scavenging for dropped money.]0 -
