This thread is so funny! I always subtly scan the pavements (and roads) when out and about, and over the years have found a small amount.
Once at work, I was day-dreaming what I might have for tea that evening, and thought I might treat myself to a bag of chips (an extortionate £1.20).
On walking home that paricular evening, I found £1.10 in change on the ground, then looked in my purse for the other 10p. By the time I got to the chippy, I just couldn't do it, that is, I just couldn't part with the funds - and so walked home to beans on toast! (Much more nutritious, too!)0 -
Thought of this thread the other day- walking down one staircase at work (at a school), I came across some coppers practically every step!! Think the kids just throw them on the floor. Also found 2.40 on the floor of my local!

£2.12 this month but I'm sure £1 of that actually fell out of OH's pocket with his car keys. Still, I spotted it so it's mine now
