Not doing very well either - but did pick up 30 Euro cents by the coinstar in my Sainsburys that someone had obviously discarded after weighing their British money - I've done quite well with Euro coins recently.

As an example of how finding money is addictive, I was rather shocked with myself yesterday when I found that an uninsured car that was resting on my property had been burnt out, my home had been broken into and a £400 generator had been stolen, BUT I still got a flicker of excitement when I found that the !!!!!! who had done all this had dropped 80c on the ground. It went straight into the saving pot.

Which yet I have not seen;"
I'd love to be a good example - instead, I am a horrible warning.

I've currently got £8 something in my pot. I find the best place to look is in the gutter by bus stops - especially in the winter when people are in too much of a hurry to get out of the cold and wet to hunt for the odd 5p. Even better if there are trees as the fallen leaves cushion the sound so they don't even know the money has been dropped!
