First post here on DFW (I'm on Old Style mostly) but I figure this is a good place to start. I am not currently in debt, but money is becoming very tight at the moment with all the price rises, so I'm trying to not get into debt.
Anyway, the reason this caught my eye was that I found some money today-$100 Australian. It was just lying on the road and I picked it up as it looked odd (it has a see through bit-very strange). So, I shall cash that in and that can be my start. I have a empty coffee jar calling out to be reused, so I'll have that for my finds.Grocery budget in 2023 £2279.18/£2700Grocery budget in 2022 £2304.76/£2400Grocery budget in 2021 £2107.86/£2200Grocery budget in 2020 £2193.02/£2160Saving for Christmas 2023 #15 £ 90/ £3650 -

This is a genius idea... I found 1p on 17th Sept so I'm classing that as my start date, and will report back in a month's time!0

I found 3p just sitting innocently on front of fruit machine in pub last night, obviously swiped it! Bf walk past it saying it wasn't worth picking up!!!
I'm 3p nearer being a millionaire :rotfl:
Other than that, not too much luck so far this month, everyone must be keeping tight hold of their money?
There are always 1p and 2p coins laying around on fruit machines... useless to a gambler because the machine does not accept them.0 -

Huh, I haven't picked up money from the street in years! When I was 7 going into a shopping mall in Gran Canaria we were walking and a 100 pesata coin (about 50p) fell from the sky (well the top of the mall lol). Good thing I walked slow otherwise it would whacked me on the head!
I would find this challenge hard, in London if stop to pick up a penny, you'd get pushed and shoved because its so busy!0
