also surely it is pyramid selling in disguise?

what we were told all them years ago.

you get two friends involved, they get 3 involved, they get 4 involved, etc., etc.
There's someone in my head, but it's not me

Just to summarise BMS Guys posting in response to my 4 questions...and to put my slant on it

BTW...I'm not going to pick up every mis-truth/deception (not enough space/time)

Q1. Yes they do sell the 'Motivational Tools' /tapes/etc - it's just they don't call them tools (and FYI Amway did sell 'tools')

Q2. No answer given on fallout rates - except it'll only cost you £228 to have a go. Lots of crap companies/scammers will happily charge you a lot less for an idea that won't work for you.

Q3. Hourly rate of £30..only drawback is that a) you have to buy everything from Scamway and they are already way overpriced (see previous postings) and b) it works out at £5 per month...so in that case only 46 months (almost 4 yrs) and you're in profit. I know...how about if I sell you a loaf of bread for £99, BUT give you a refund of £25; it only takes 3 mins to buy it, times 20 per hour equates to £500 per hour income for you..any takers??

Q4. Following Scamway procedures he says that the reason for so many disaffected people lies with the people that take up the 'opportunity' - and trots out the usual 'didn't work hard enough, whingers, jobsworths' etc (standard Scamway defense part 1). Just remind me again who targets, selects and recruits these 'losers/whingers/deadbeats'...oh I remember, other Scamway guys. If my business recruited and lost people as badly as Scamway I would seriously question our ability to select the right people. Then again if my business model was getting me £200 a pop for giving someone a load of bumpf I wouldn't really care??? Why do Scamways spend so much time trying to recruit others instead of out there selling their over-priced tatt.

I see your quotes but all I can hear is Blah Blah Blah Blah Blah.

Get off of the price. You will "prove" this and I will "prove" that.

Where is the scam? stay logical, take a deep breath and relax. There is no scam.

You know that people out there have built huge Amway businesses, you know some people have built small Amway businesses and it drives you nuts doesn't it? Some people didn't build at all. Not all of them actually did anything though. I went into sales once. I thought "I'm good at this Amway thing, let's give sales a go." I was useless at it so I quit. Does that make sales a scam?

Is that because you couldn't make it work? Did you have dreams and goals once and thought that Amway was your answer? And when you weren't a millionaire within 3 months decided that it was a scam?

What has been your experience then? Will you tell us? Did a friend get in and make it big and you now feel cheated?

It is eating away at you and turning you bitter. You should let it go and relax. It's not your fault. Those nasty Amway IBO's singled you out and are picking on you. Yes that is it. Out of the billions on this planet we chose you to scam. Oh you are so special. Please let me scam you. You seem to like it so much.

    2. Infants and people with lowered immune systems are warned against tap water.

I am not claiming that mains water will kill you but BFG started the ranting on outrageous claims that I never seen in the Amway Literature. END QUOTE

    My response

UNBELIEVABLE - you claim Scamway don't make outrageous claims, yet only 20 or so words before you do just that!!! Talk about being so indoctrinated that you can't see the truth.

Easy tiger. That was in response to one of your minnions who claim that tap water was "safe".

Being a parent, I was told to boil the tap water as it wasn't safe for them.
Nursing someone extremely ill, I was told to boil the tap water.

In both instances I followed up with the literature on our water filtration and treatment system and was told that the standards adhered to in their use reduced the dangers significantly. No-one would ever lay claim to totally safe drinking water.

In the south of england we have sewage processing plants capable of returning reclaimed water to the mains. Filtered pooh basically. Now I don't fancy that at all.

if amway dont sell tools/tapes etc why did they want 200 notes off me for a sodding flip chart?

as for £5 a week on washing powder where did i say that?

id give up mate, youre flogging a dead horse. amway are rip off merchants. none of their products are any different to something i might buy in tesco.

my 7 piece pan set thing came from a catal.ouge with a lifetime guarantee 4 years ago and they are still going strong. not bad for £80 i think you'll agree.

What flip chart? How long ago was this?

At the bottom of your post you stated that anyone who spent more than a fiver on soap powder was a fool.

    Amway don't do dead horses.
You are on about the price again aren't you?
Are you a biochemist? Are you scientifically qualified at all?
If I can use a small scoop of SA8 to do the job that I need a large scoop of persil for surely that makes persil the scam? Look at the same conditions heavy soil and hard water. I bet persil recommend double what Amway do. That is a scam.

Good on you well done. Are you Jamie Oliver? Do you cook professionally? Or do you just boil water? Are your pans aluminium? Ours are stainless steel. If that means nothing to you I would suggest you ask an expert.

    Same old same old.

All businesses are puramid in shape you muppet.
Boss at the top, managers below, supervisors and on down.
Pyramid selling is illegal. Has been since 1973. Amway have been operating successfully in the UK since 1973. Openly. Not hidden away.
We pay our dues. We operate to the letter of the law. We are self governing as well so give me your specifics on rogue operators and we will get them investigated.

Your analogy to getting friends involved does not make Amway a Pyramid selling scheme. Doesn't your place of work offer employee incentives for introducing employees? What if you did and then they did and so on? Would that be a pyramid scheme?

Look Amway up on Yell.com and send the police round to shut them down if you believe that they are a scam or illegal. Get old blokey involved from rogue traders or whats her name from watchdog again. We have been there and seen it and done it and here we still are.

I'm pleased to see you've reverted to insulting opponents of the Scamway faith....it shows your arguments up for what they are ---- ie bullying and bogus.

You ignore any questions that you don't like and trot out the same Scamway mantras.

Face it, the internet is Scamway's nightmare because it cuts down on the number of people who are ill-informed, thanks to sites like this one,and the hundreds of others that tell the truth aboult the Scamway cult.

I'll sell you a Scabway loaf of bread for £99 but give you £25 back for each one that you (or a relative/friend) purchase, that way you're making £25 for every loaf you buy...interested??

I'm happy to let readers of this thread make their own judgement on Scumway - based on what has been posted by both of us.

for starters dont call me a muppet because ive spoken out against scamway. how very dare you.

do i slate you and revert to name calling because you are a deluded scamway merchant?

scamway wanted 200 notes off me and my ex about 9 years ago now. they also wanted us to rip our family and friends off. oh yes we were almost persuaded by some pretty little blonde thing who drove a top of the range sports car and showed us a video of some scamway millionair and promised days out at his mansion playing golf and the like BUT we decided SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM pick on the gullible etc etc etc makes yer money.

thats not what we were like and ever likely to be like.

mr mob has enjoyed this thread immensly. his words to me when he finished?

    SCAM.

Insulting? Is that your argument now?
I have asked you repeated what your agenda is and repeated yu have not answered.
Can I correct your spelling? It is Amway it starts with an A
Obviously I have touched a nerve with you.

All the internet has provided is thusand ways for the same stories.

Bullying oh Matron lets have a hissy fit!

The old pyramid chestnut was rolled out and exposed for what it is.
What would you call some one who doesn't know the difference between a trading scheme and a pyramid scheme?
I chose muppet. I could have used idiot, moron, dumba*s or something insulting but I chose Muppet. Well my I need a psychotherapist to recover from that insult.
I Know what you would call some one who didn't know the difference between a pyramid scheme and a trading scheme and I bet that you would think that you were being funny. The answer isn't Amway IBO by the way.

Give me a question that I am legally allowed to answer and I will answer it.

I am not at liberty to divulge trade or industry information about Amway or IBS. That is the law not a cop out. Everything I say has to be accurate due to the code of conduct and ethics that I signed up to when I joined Amway. You can say anything that you please lies and truth as you have signed any ethical agreements.

I cannot divulge earnings. This is the law as well. "Proof of one persons earnings is not proof that earnings are achievable by everyone" I have paraphrased that as I don't have the clause to hand. These are rules set by the law makers to protect people from being scammed.

So basically ask me a question and I will answer it.
But if I am gagged by the laws governing my profession then blame the law not Amway.

No i call you a muppet because you do not know the law regarding trading schemes and a muppet because you can't remember that it is Amway starting with an A.

200 notes about nine years ago by a pretty little blond thing.

    Full of respect there.

The 200 notes was for the £150 flip chart that you posted about earlier was it?

Was it £28 for a business information sarter pack and £167 for a 200PV product starter kit?

Fancy that a business that has products. it must be a scam and a pyramid.
What I must buy them before I recommend them? Can't I just lie and con people and pretend that I have bought them?

Someone pointed to someone successful? Oh thats the con then. If they hadn't had any success to point to then that would have been OK would it?

You say your ex? So marriage is a scam is it? All women/men are out to get you?

The name calling will stop when you stop calling Amway Scamway. Be grown up. I bet you are more p****d off with Amway than the fact your ex dumped you.

Let me see if I have got this right.

You don't like Amway and therefore IBS because of their route to market? IBO's recruiting others to be IBO's and IBO's selling to customers? And IBS providing training?

    Is that right?

You don't like Amway because you feel that the products are either expensive, non-essential or frivalous?

    Is that right?

You don't like the fact that I am defending them?

    Is that right?

Am I right in saying that with the exception of TPAOY, I think that was his name, you haven't been "conned" into joining?

    Is that right?

    Well what is the problem?

Don't join, don't buy the products and don't ever go to a business presentation in someones house.

    Now you are safe.

I have never bought double glazing from a double glazing salesman but I have never felt the need to post on the internet about it.

If you leave it alone it will probably leave you alone.
But, if like Steve Irwin, you keep poking it with a stick it will try to bite you.

If you post defaming comments and down right lies about me, my business or my friends then I will defend them.

If you don't then I will leave you alone.

As Mr Mob says "its time to play the music, its time to light the lights. Its time to get things started on the muppet show tonight".
