Is that true? What happens after a year then?
The Food Focus one at least seems to track Protein levels, which is handy for guys who not only want to lose weight, but build muscle as well0 -
I have just joined MyFitnessPal.com, which is a free food diary that also calculates your calories.0

Had a quick scan of the thread and found various websites suggested, some i will admit are posted by people who have very little posts, so i am suspicious of some.
Can anybody suggest the "best site" or at least tell me how they vary and what might appeal to people about each one. i know i am expecting a lot but if somebody has been a member of 2 of them, might be able to let me know what each one offered you and why you picked one over another.
thanks.

I thought I'll bump this thread for summer time
I have been member of foodfocus for years already. I don't use it regulary, just 'on demand' and found it really helpful. I've lost 16kgs in 4 months - and it was quite easy, my sugar levels stopped jumping up and down, I stopped thinking about chocolate/sweets and cakes all the time, since I really balanced my diet. My calories intake was quite low (1k per day) but i used it on healthy foods, rich of fibre, minerals and vitamins (whereas before my main calories intake came from confectionery). So despite it, I felt much better, healthier and full of energy. From size 12 back to 8.
FoodFocus lets you count your calories intake (from food) and calories burnt (exercise), allows you to create meals/add favourite foods, doesn't have any annoying ads banners and is totally FREE. They do have a really wide database of most food being sold on supermarkets. Also you can track where your calories come from: is it mainly carbohydrates/alcohol etc, you can check if you get enough of fibre/proteins/etc. I don't know if any of your mentioned sites are better - I was completely satisfied by FoodFocus to bother myself searching anything better.0 -
Ive used food focus and my fitness pal. I found food focus easier to navigate, but my fitness pal had more food and products in their database so less time me filling them out. However, Im not 100% happy with either one. Im now trying Paul McKenna way of eating.Current Aims: Laptop/PC, decent money, holiday
