Just out of curiosity, is there a specific day that we weigh in on here?
I don't think there's a specific weigh-in day, everyone does it on whatever day suits them.
I weigh in on a Friday as on a Saturday I like to have my vino & a few munchies, this allows me the rest of the week to make up for it.
I try to apply the 80/20 rule; good 80% of the time, bad 20%. Seems to be working so far.....(eerm tonight being an exception)0 -

Morning All,
How smashin' to see so many newbys ~ you're all welcome and good luck to you all :T
I had a lot of time to think yesterday as I was on my own for a while at work. Remembering back to this time last year (when I was a size 12 :rolleyes: ) I was in a good mood ALL the time. I kept looking at myself in the mirror ALL the time and smiling. I felt GREAT and even though there were the usual problems that life throws at you, nothing got me down, because I was thin.
So, I'm tricking myself into being that happy person always in a good mood. I think it's so much easier to stick to it when you're happy. Once you're cheesed off it's hard to get happy again. Does that make sense of am I waffling again?;)
Have a good day everyone xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxSay it once, say it loud ~ I'm an Atheist, Anti-Royalist, Socialist, Tea-Total Veggie Frog and PROUD!:D

morning everyone!
nice to see some new faces!:T
Off to work later with a sleepover and not home till 5.30 tomorrow evening so a lot of meals to have at work - need to plan! I looked at the menu last week and it is beef curry tonight - thats out for me as a near-veggie(I eat fish but no meat) so I think I will get myself a quorn curry if I can or something similar. Work is usually my downfall as the cupboards are stuffed with biscuits and crisps!:rolleyes: and its hard to resist when others are tucking in but I must be good as its weigh in tomorrow night again!
B - shreddies and milk
1 slice HM bread as toast
L - not sure whats on menu but will probably have something on toast or a salad
D - quorn curry
snacks fruit of some type and lowfat yoghurt.
Have a good day everyone!:wave:Do what you love :happyhear0 -
Ohhhh that was a lovely catch up - hello to all the new people *waving* and as always just big yays for the rest of you, you always cheer me up, cheers ears
Last night fell off the wagon bigstyle - I went t'Co Op to pick some fruit up for Nipper's packed lunches and they had a reduced extra special almond and cherry loaf cake (70p) - which I bought for his lunches as well. Gave him a slice and he screwed his face up at the cherries so I had a slither..............I mean a teeny tiny slither to taste it, just to check how cherry-y it was of course. And it was *quite* cherry-y indeed. So I had a bit bigger slice............and then ANOTHER slice. By which time half the soddin' cake was gone!!!!! I was honestly stood in the kitchen not moving from the cake and nom nom noming as I troffed it. In the end I ran out the patio doors and put it out for the birds - I didn't even dare just put it in the bin. Bad Nixy.
So, today, as they say, is a new day.
B = Porridge (again)
L = HM turkey soup (again)
D = salad....................with pancakes for the Nipper...............please someone, save me from having to check how lemon and sugar-y they areComps £2016 in 2016 - 1 wins = £530 26.2%

Hi all
I've found a couple of ways of avoiding scarfing between meals, unfortunately both pretty extreme -
1. Have had builders and window men in since last Thursday and the constant walking up and down the stairs with endless cups of tea plus hiding in my study has stopped me from snacking and
2. (do not read this if eating) - visiting my Dad in hospital who has been there for 6 weeks with complications with his diabeties has made me realise I'm going the same way fast so, and this is really eeerrgh, if I shouldn't be eating something I'm imagining the maggots that they have strapped to his foot crawling all over them - that would keep you off the creme eggs Frogga
Weigh in is tomorrow so fingers crossed
xI'd rather be watching CSI!0 -
LG.. I'd rather amputate my own foot than have maggots strapped to it.. *shuddershuddershudder* I'm not sure what is the most revolting!!! I know someone who had her foot done last year.. just the same.. she got a blister on her big toe on the Friday.. by Sunday it was infected.. by Monday it was black and by Wednesday she only had half a foot and it just isn't nice!
Breakfast... cocopops anyone? and a cuppa
lunch .. the dreaded pasta'n'sauce .. half a pack .. I share with Tiddles
dinner tonight.. spaggy bol.. YUMMY!!LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0
