Had a better day exercise-wise yesterday...a quick half-mile walk to Mr T's with Pup & an offspring; rested outside while shopping was done for me:D & Pup & I came home the longer way so he could have some off-lead time.....Best bit was the enjoyment I got out of doing it! I walked hard enough to make me puff, but don't like to take it too far & then have to collapse in a heap cuz of blummin asthma:o
No1 offspring made 'away from home' stuffed peepers for dinner..a recipe we concocted for a little 'candlelight swaree' for friends whilst surviving in rented accomodation:p It was the first time I'd tried it last night, & very good it was too.- Take at least one pepper per person, dependant on size, & cut lengthways thru stem & base. Remove seeds & pith.
- Finely dice bacon; onion; tomatoes; mushrooms & garlic. Fry lightly in olive oil till golden & soft.
- Make thickish basic white sauce I]we had a lot less than 1/2pint, but could have done with a tad more, using 4peppers[/I & add some grated cheese & black pepper.
- Mix all ingredients together & spoon into halved peppers. Top with grated cheese & brown under hot grill.
- Serve immediately with...well...we had mixed leave salad.
Think I may have a go at the bread recipe this week...all that pummelling will help get rid of the bingo wings:eek:

Hi all, just used google maps to work out how long my lunch walks are - disappointed it's only really a mile there and a mile back (plus the walking round the supermarket in between). It's the same for all 3 walks I usually go on. Not as far as I thought really - but 4 times a week so far, so 8 miles a week.
Also OH declared his weight now, having lost more than me, is the same as when I started to lose weight in June/July! Glad I'm not still there nowworking on clearing the clutterDo I want the stuff or the space?0 -
